I'm a poor college student with two hockey ignorant roomates so it would be hard to get Center Ice. Anyone know what Center Ice Online costs? Is it cheaper as the season goes on? I would love to get all the last quarter of games to watch the playoff races.

I think what's pissing me off is what Doug Wilson said than whatever they ranked the Sharks. Wilson says "with all due respect" but doesn't really give the Wings any respect or credit. You lost, and the better team won, and that's it. If your team is as good as you say they are then maybe your captain should of stepped up and provided the necessary leadership, your goalie should of made that save in overtime, and whatever player shouldn't have been in the box. I strongly believe a team is just that, a team, and if critical elements of the team breaks down, then it all goes to s***. Go cry in your pillow Mr. Wilson, you need to stop making excuses for your team and try again this year. You have to win four hard fought games to win a playoff round; potential to win them means nothing.

I'm not going to get too upset about those lines since Babcock is just starting to figure things out. Still, I'm not big at all on splitting up Datsyuk and Zetterberg. Those two just flow simultaneously together, and we know what a line with Holmstrom is capable of. Plus, it seems stupid to me when Filppula is talented enough to fit 2nd line duties, and him and Hudler have a history playing together..so why not build on that? Franzen is ideal on the 3rd line and should stay there unless size becomes an issue on the second line. Anyway, here's how I see it.... Zetterberg - Datsyuk - Holmstrom Hudler - Filppula - Samuelsson (I'd actually prefer Cleary here, but I don't see Sammy playing on the 4th line...) Franzen - Draper - Maltby Drake - Kopecky - Cleary Lidstrom - Kronwall Rafalski - Lebda Chelios - Lilja (not sure about splitting up Chelli and Lebda, but I think Lebda is ready for top-4 minutes and would compliment Rafalski well.) Although, as somone brought up, our lack of size is sad. edit:(sp)

If I was Koivu, I would be preety angry the Habs didn't retain Souray or sign either Gomez or Drury. It's not like management has shown their capitan they are trying to put a better team out there. They lost out on the Briere sweepstakes and management just sat back after that. I'm not suprised Koivu so frustrated.

I want the Hudler-Filppula-Franzen line back. That line looked like it was going to be huge early in the first round. Bertuzzi on the first line seems like it would be a good fit too, Babs should at least try it.

He actually caught the Calgary defense off guard with it, and instead of one timing or sending a quick wrister, he looked down at the puck giving enough time for their D to eat him up. Pathetic. Question 1: Why doesn't the Detroit media (or Babcock) completely call Lang out? I mean why not? I would think reporters and Babs are watching the same game...so what do they have to lose?
