Let's not forget the passion after the first period. I love when the Wings have scrums like that because you know they are going to play a great game. BTW, How was Lilja's fight? Did he win?

How does the Franzen-Datsyuk-Bertuzzi line look?
-
Let me guess, those know-it-all Versus guys?
-
You know, I really missed listening to Paul Woods & Ken Kal. I forgot how good they are.

Thanks for the Sopcast, I've looked into it, but I'm running OS X, not Windows so I can't download the program Anyone have the radio feed? 1270 XYT is gving me errors....

If I do that, I know exactly what he will do. I guess this is where the DARE program will need to kick in, and I'll have to do that whole "responsible" thing.

I HATE IT WHEN GAMES ARE NOT ON FSN DETROIT!!! I have to decide to either study for my two exams this week, or go to a friends house to watch because I don't have Versus :\ Anyone know if Yahoo is broadcasting this, or a good site to listen to the game?

What do we think about Bertuzzi replacing Holmstrom on the ZDH line?
Louisville replied to sean's topic in General
I think your forgetting something about Bertuzzi that Holmstrom doesn't do, and that's effectively playing a setup role. Bertuzzi has very soft hands, and just one of those players (Z, Dats, and Bert) can attract several on coming defenders, leaving anyone else open. Bertuzzi alone can create room for himself, as well as others. A good example last game was the spin-around behind the net pass to Datsyuk. I'm not arguing for splitting up the one time "hottest line in the NHL," but I think a Datsyuk-Zetterberg-Bertuzzi line can be huge for this team. -
Good news. I really hope he can at least get in two games.

I drink lots and lots of beer.

WTF is right. Someone must of been hitting the bong when they proposed that one.

That goal was (mostly) all Datsyuk.

Speaking of Lilja, anyone know how long Lebda is out? He can't come back fast enough, especially against three speedy teams this week. As for Sammy, I don't understand his thought process when he shoots. Even his shooutout attempt vs the Blue Jackets was a perimeter shot at the chest. :looney: Seeing him on the point for the PP yesterday was dissapointing (and tells you right there, Babcock has faith in him). Why doesn't he even try the setup role? Which brings me to this, why won't Babcock give Chelios any PP time? He's said many times he'd like to sink his teeth into it, and I'd say he'd be a better right handed point guy than Sammy.

It's fine. I just agreed with (and quoted) certain points he made, he obviously went overboard in certain parts of his post. I respect your opinion, regardless. I completely understand where your coming from, because I love Sergei too, and I think the look on his face when he has to face that Detroit crowd says it all.
-
So you don't think he will be suspended for it? Or it warrented a game misconduct? Mick pointed out what Lidstrom did when he went after a Blues player in the corner and how you take them out of the play, effectively. Lidstrom could of done the same thing, but the difference is Villie shoved his face in the boards, full force.
