Thanks for letting me know they are replaying it! I'm taping it for my boyfriend who happens to be in Philadelphia on business and was at the Phillies game last night and had no idea what was going down at Comerica. He was pretty upset he missed it. So, BRTD, if you really want I can send you a VHS tape of it! If you know anyone who still has that outdated thing called a VCR to play it on.

I feel the need to tell a story. When I was subbing at the beginning of this year, I regularly subbed in a kindergarten classroom. There was a student, I'll call him K, who was obsessed with pirates. My first indication of this was when they were doing their journals and I heard the parapro say "Ok, K, can we draw something other than a pirate today? Maybe something you did on the playground this morning?" To which K replied "Can I pretend I saw a pirate on the playground this morning?" Another day, they were playing and he took off his Lions jersey (he had a Tshirt under it) and filled it with the fake jewerly and held it in a bundle and came to me and said "Arr, they're trying to get our booty!" Another time he wanted to show me something, but I told him to wait till we got to the classroom. He asked again and tried to show me but I told him no again to which he replied "Arrrr" He also believed that in order to turn anything priate, you needed to add a bandana to it's head. I learned this before Christmas when he showed me a drawing of Santa, then proceeded to draw a bandana on Santa's head and the proudly stated "Now he's pirate!" Apparently it's been a serious issue with K. Last year he showed up for school picture day dressed in full pirate garb. Eye patch and all. I hope you all enjoyed story time.

Alright, I don't think I've posted a pic on here since it got revived. This is me: But, in fitting with this and the random discussion thread, maybe I should post this pic:

I would like to take this moment, to remember why I love Jim Leyland. He reminded me when he was asked yesterday about facing Dice-K that night. His response: "I don't give a [expletive] about him. I'm not getting into all that. I could give a [expletive] less. It's another pitcher. We're playing Boston. Obviously, he's an outstanding pitcher. He's a major league pitcher. And that's who we're facing." Thank you Jim Leyland.

The winner.

I was unable to speak after the amazing Lidstrom save. The first sound I uttered was when Sammy scored. Holy ******* cow.

I did not meet my goals last week. Sickness mixed with business at work = I was wearing tiredpants. I couldn't work out to save my life. I did stay on track for my eating though, and had 6 good days and 1 bad day. So this week I'm hoping to get over my cold in the next couple days and get back into some workouts!

I know! Awesome game today.

I forgot to update but I met my goals last week! This week has been super busy and I'm having trouble keeping up. I'm doing well in watching what I eat, but I'm having trouble finding the motivation and energy to work out when I come home and am totally pooped. Hopefully I can find a way to get my workouts in so I stay on track this week.

Speaking of Rod Allen, In the game last week Mario mentioned that Monroe's middle name was Keystone. To this Rod replied "It's also popular for those of you who like to do 12 ounce curls." And I'm watching the game right now, and they made a comment about one of the guys on the Sox. Brian Anderson when he was a rookie and scored his first homerun and came back to the dugout, all the rest of the players gave him the silent treatment. So Anderson just took a seat quietly on the bench.

I'm gonna try to get in shape a bit more too! I've always been a runner, but I have been slacking since winter came around, and I got a little soft and squidgy over the past few months. I just wanna get more toned and maybe drop a few pounds. My goal is to cardio 4 times a week, strength train 3 times a week, and eat under 1500 calories 6 days a week. I also plan to reward myself here and there if I meet those goals each week, but I haven't figured out the exact details. I'm thinking like buy a new CD or a new shirt or something along those lines. We'll see how it goes! I can update too if I meet my goals each week. My weight doesn't change much so I don't know if that will be a good base. Like at my most fit (before last summer pry) I was pry 129 and a looser size 4 and now I'm 136 and a fuller size 6. So since I don't imagine I could lose more than 8 pounds or so (healthfully) I'll just post if I meet my goals or not.

Well, I will be at the Tiger's game. I'm not sure what we're planning on doing after, because I assume the Tigers would get done around the end of the 1st period. I'll also be with a large group, so I won't have the final say in where we go, but if you let me know where you all might be meeting I can try and stop by, especially if it's downtown.

My man is cooking me chicken stir-fry right now. Mmmm.

I'm coming to Detroit for a Tigers game on the 21st. If there were a get together on that weekend I may be inclined to stop by. But seriously, DON'T plan anything around that, because I wouldn't be certain to come.
