I have the opposite problem. Does anyone wanna grade papers for me?

I would wear flip flops year round if the weather permitted. PS - Did you know both "cancelled" and "canceled" are acceptable spellings of the same word? If you look it up in the dictionary they say both is allowable. I wonder if that happens with other words too.

I looked at the thread and I didn't get worked up, but I am somewhat bothered. There was just a lot of untrue information and incorrect judgements about Detroit and the fans, and I think that would bother anyone. Knowing that others have the wrong impression, it makes you want to correct the impression. I'm just hopeful that the rest of the Nashville fans don't have the views the people on those boards have.

I've been watching when I can. I've only caught bits and pieces so far, and only the men's. I really have no idea what is going on on the women's side. I've seen both of Blake's matches and although he looked sloppy in the first one he looked a bit smoother in the second one. I hope he keeps his head clear because I would LOVE to see him win a freakin' slam.

The boy and I are trying to decide when to take down our Xmas tree . . . pry not for awhile.

Well, thanks to one of the boyfriend's Xmas presents, I will be at the game! We will be with friends before and after the game, so we wouldn't do Nemo's pry. But I'd meet up during an intermission or whatever. Just let me know!

I've hesitated replying because I don't want to cop out like last night. I felt really bad when I said I was coming and I didn't, so that's I won't say anything for sure yet, but here's my plans. I'll be out of town pry until the 29th. Then I'll be in town for an NYE party. So, either afternoon of NYE or on NYD (although I will pry be hungover and only be able to grunt instead of actually interact with anyone) would work best. And then I would hope I could attend the event this time.

I just wanted to post my official congratulations to the Tigers for an incredible season. It totally sucked that we couldn't show the world what a great team we really are, but we know how fantastic the Tigers were this season. TODDDDDDDDDDDDD JOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONES!

Ok, here's the thing. If you look at it on it's own and only take into consideration whether or not he had pine tar on his hand (he did) then, yes, he was cheating. However, if you look at it in the context of the entire league, where a majority of the players use it, it's not quite that cut and dry. If the team that was "cheated" against doens't give a s***, then that's all that matters.

That's how Todd Jones rolls. Seriously. He knows how to make a game exciting. And Matt, your avatar reminded me of the shot they had during Game 2 of a guy in the stands wearing a tiger costume with a cardinal in it's mouth. Flippin' hilarious.

I know I'm a little late but . . . . YAY TIGERS!!! I watched them win instead of watching State lose over the weekend. God that homer was amazing. And my big headed Tiger won MVP!!! Woo woo. I had tailgated all morning and my boyfriend spent the whole time shoving the broom he had brought with a Tigers shirt attatched in strangers faces and yelling "GO TIGERS!" Luckily most people were Tigers fans and enjoyed seeing a drunk man wave a broom in their face.

Does anyone else out there find this picture humorous? Because I love it.
