With a DVD burner? Aren't all DVD's copyrighted?

Is it bad if your "Service Engine Soon" light has been on for about 10 months? Good, I didn't think so.

Mine went out today too. But now it's back. Woo.

The 10th works for me! I'll be driving from East Lansing though, so Dearborn is slightly closer with free parking, so I'd prefer Cheli's Chili to Hockeytown. I may bring the boyfriend along as well, he's a big Wings fan too so he'll fit in.

Bah. I woke up at 4 am and couldn't fall back to sleep. I HATE when that happens.

Fun game to go to! I watched the game whilst drinking delicious beers at a sweet brewery in Grand Rapids.

I don't know about everyone else, but I'd like to note that Sundays work better for me than Saturdays. Especially during the fall since I have a guaranteed 7 Saturdays that are home football games, which means I will be tailgating and unable to transport myself in any vehicle pretty much for the entire day.

Speaking of Tigers. . . . GO TIGERS. I hope they beat the piss out of Chicago tonight.

As long as you're footing the airline bill . . .

Just a note, I traveled Southfield this weekend to Dearborn and there is still construction, but it's much more open than it was earlier this summer. No closed lanes, etc. The construction on I-696 can be a bit of a hassle, it may even be closed on the weekends, and I believe the lodge is closed as well. If you're coming from the west just take 96 to 275 to 96 to Southfield freeway and do exactly what Muse described. My boyfriend lives off of Oakwood, literally like a mile south of Cheli's Chili. I'm so mad I can't make it but I hope you all have a good time. Someone have a beer for me. Or eight.

It's flippin' hot and flippin' humid out right now.

Post it.

Boo. I'm late to see this. I couldn't attend previous Detroit get-togethers and I'll be out of town that weekend. My weekends are all full till mid-September (7 flippin' weddings to attend this summmer. SEVEN!) but if you all decide to meet again around that time, let me know!

Ooo, Heffron is great! I've never seen him live but he was one of only a few comics from any of the Last Comic Standing shows that I actually found funny.

I was away from electricity the whole weekend so I didn't get to see/hear any news. All I wanted was for some Americans to do well, but it doesn't look like that happened. Here's my predictions now from what's left. Federer over Bjorkman in the semis. Bjorkman had a long, tough match today, so I don't think he'll be up to the challenge of Federer. Bahgdatis over Nadal (I'm assuming he'll win his quarterfinal). I just had to go for some kind of upset. Federer over Bahgdatis in the final. Because, well, it's Federer. That kid is practically unstoppable. For the ladies, I'm gonna go with Mauresmo vs. Henin in the finals with Henin taking it all.

I love fine point Sharpies.

I'm at work and couldn't watch, but I saw online that he pulled it out. The scores looked a little bit too close for comfort though. I want to see some Americans do well this slam, dang it!!

That post about doctors not knowing what is wrong with you reminded me of that show Mystery Diagnosis on Discovery Health. I friggin' love that channel and just about every show on it.

I am sad to see Agassi go, but I think it's time. He's really had some fights with injuries the past couple of years. He has accomplished so much already and with having a family now, it seems to be about time. He was one I grew up watching, the Sampras and Agassi rivalry was huge when I was younger and tennis was my life. I loved watching him; he always provided an exciting match. He'll be missed. In regards to Wimbledon, I'm excited because it's my fav slam and I should be able to see a good portion of it. I watched a few matches today, mostly the Agassi match, and I don't think he'll get too far in the draw this year. He did become better as the match went on, and he will definately need to get better with each match to keep going. I saw a bit of the Nadal, Federer, Henman and Blake matches. Blake has been my fav player since he was still just playing in college, so I hope he does well here. I don't really expect Henman to give Federer too much of a challenge in the next round. Didn't see any women's. I'd love to see Hingis in the final though.
