I agree. I've tried many, ha ha. There is something delicious about a Bloody Mary the morning after though . . . The only thing that works for me are what I suggested - sleep, tylenol, water.

    LGW Fit Club

Funny you revive this thread now! I actually just got serious about weight loss/getting in shape for my upcoming wedding. We got a treadmill on Monday, and I've used it everyday since! I'm not on a "diet" but I'm eating healthy (no high fat foods, lots of fruits and veggies and lean protein, keeping an eye on sodium intake, limiting processed foods). I'm also running a 10K in early May. My fiance is doing the half marathon, but I'm not quite up to that! My goal is 15 pounds by May 17, 2008, and with some toning of arms and tummy. As of weigh in this morning (I'm weighing in every Friday morning for another weight loss board) I'm down 3 pounds!! But weekends will be a challenge in sticking with the healthy eating. I freakin love beer and fatty foods and on the weekends, I'm usually surrounded by both.

It's not why did you drink, why did you drink too much. That's what I usually am asking myself when I'm hung the F over. Pop some tylenol and chugs two glasses of water and try to sleep some more. Then eat something healthy for b-fast. Keep drinking water and you'll feel better eventually.

I had no idea that there was even an eclipse last night! But I fell asleep at 9:30 (I'm awesome) so I wouldn't have seen it anyways.

I missed the earlier baby picture fun. Here's some of me (note my awesome Beatle's style bowl cut I sported for the first 5 years of my life):

I can't wait till my drive to work returns to it's normal amount of time. I've had to leave early almost every day for the past 2 weeks to get here on time!

I work for an accounting firm - they block pretty much everything! Usually I am busy, but this week has just been really slow! MTU is closed? Whoa! That's where my man went - I didn't think they EVER closed for the snow.

yeah they block internet radio streaming sites here now too - I used to be able to listen to Bob & Tom. I just shopped at the J. Crew final sale online and got 2 shirts and a tank top for $20!

Thanks for the boredom breaking suggestions guys! I'm gonna need them because we are slow here again today. Pretty much half the office stayed home because their kids didn't have school and they didn't want to brave the roads. Oh, and we don't have solitaire, minesweeper etc. on the computers - they took 'em off!

Snow days were way more awesome when I was a teacher than when I was a student. I needed the break a hell of a lot more then.

    Red Wings and Yzerman Duped

Wait, what? Did you actually just say that? Alright, I'm not sure if you just enjoy playing Devil's Advocate, which is fine and I encourage that, but there comes a point where in doing so you cross a line of logic and compassion. Your current arguement appears to be this: If a person is terminally ill, not only should they not recieve special/attention gifts, but they actually should be passed over in favor of a healthy person for these gifts/attention. Apparently, the joy that is brought to that ill child's life (let's say from your example he dies the next day) is worth nothing because the child dies. I tend to believe that any bit of happiness you can bring to a child who will not get to live his life and experience what other children and people get to is worth EVERYTHING. That ill child gets to spend a moment with a sports hero instead of getting to have a first kiss, playing sports, driving his/her first car, graduating, enjoying the rest of their lives with friends and family, having children of his/her own, etc. That ill child has had thier LIFE taken away from them and you think it is worthless to give them any special bit of joy in the small amount of time that they have here? Seriously. I wish I could teach you empathy but it's not something that can be taught. The only thing I can suggest is that you imagine that is your sick brother, your sick child, your sick friend and see if you can tell me that you would not want that sick person to experience any special joys because their just going to die anyways.

    How about Forsberg?

If you're going to make 3 outrageous claims (2 extremely horrible to even suggest about a person if you are just speculating) you'd do well to back yourself up with some links/proof. Forsberg is one of the best players of all time. I believe he still has it in him, while his physical abilities may be less than what they were, you don't lose skill over time. However, I believe his desire/drive and health are liabilities at this time and leave too much of a question mark for now.
