I have missed this thread, but I have been watching here and there. I never watch much of the Australian Open or the French Open, for whatever reason. I am REALLY hoping Blake pulls off something awesome!!

I have the t-shirt in the middle! My friend's mom did this out of all of our tennis shirts we aquired from middle school through high school. Super cool!

I plan to eat AND drink today.

2 more hours of work till the weekend!!! And the biggest bar night of the year tonight. Ya-hoo!

I challenged the fiance this morning and suggested we try to each LOSE 5 pounds between now and Xmas. So not just fighting not gaining weight but actually losing. I've pry put on about 5 pounds thanks to tailgating season (aka football season). He's gonna try and lose 10. He's always trying to lose weight, he lost 60 pounds after college and then throughout the years he usually fluctuates 20 pounds. We'll see how it goes!

I hate the puff test too! It's not to test for astigmatism though, it's to test for glaucoma. I think after a certain age they are supposed to do it in every eye exam you go to.

Ooo, fun! I honestly haven't gotten new glasses in about 5 years either.

Work is S - L - O - W. SLOW.

I felt that way too when I got my hair cut short for the first time! I remember not being able to believe how short it was and I thought it was poofy. I'm sure yours is cute though and you'll get used to it!

I'm back at work after being sick and working from home for a couple days, and now there's no work to do. And I'm still a bit sick. Blah.

When he played for us, part of me thought he was fun/exciting and part of me was embarassed that he was wearing our Jersey. Overall, I think he comes off as a cocky dickhead. But, if his job is to agitate and draw penalties, then I guess that's sort of what you want in an "agitator". It's one thing to put on that act on the ice, the problem I have with Avery is he seems like he would be that way in the locker room and in real life. A dick. I don't know though, I'm not really sure what his teammates have to say about him.

I carved a pumpkin tonight. This is one side: And this is the other: My fiance carved a pretty sweet one of the Jager logo. I can't take a pic though cuz we left it at our friends' house. I may post it later.

When I was 7 I was riding bikes with friends and I was turned listening to them talk. I ran into a parked car. When I was in college, I was walking with my friends and again, listening to one of them talk. I ran into a pole. That's how awesome I am.

I wore a retainer at night on my bottom teeth for years. I stopped going to the ortho though so I didn't know when I was supposed to stop. Then one night a couple years ago I lost it, and I haven't seen it since. Not sure what happened to it, but my teeth seem to be doing ok . . .

I love puppies! Someone here at work found 6 black lab puppies abandoned in a box in the middle of the road this weekend. She called all the shelters around but nobody would take them because they are full, so she's going to have to take them to the humane society, where they will have 5 days to find a home for them.

Do you mean the part where the frogs vacationed in Ethiopia? I was like "No way. They did not just go there." and I laughed. There was another part I felt like that but I can't remember what it was.

Mmm, pizza. I think I"m going to make turkey goulash for dinner tonight. We bought ground turkey because it was on sale and that's the only thing I can think of to make with it!

I have a solution for both of you so you can enjoy and appreciate the deliciousness of breakfast food. Don't eat it for breakfast. Eat it for dinner or dessert! Problem solved!! And Wingsgirl - I care about your story! That's awesome. How did Steve's teeth look? Last image I remember of him as a Wing was his bloody teeth knocked out of his face from the 2002 playoffs.
