He does, and Neidavacation isn't usually that gutless. He's more of a hands off type of player most of the time.... apparently he's gotten more hands on with age? Or maybe they injected him with some of Pronger's horse steroids. (I hope his orthodontist keeps an eye on him if that's true)
-
Yeahhhh- Wiz's lung contusion wasn't the mitigating factor in his injury- it was the elbow from Holmstrom that he sees at least once a game during the regular season/playoffs.
-
Ericsson kicked his ass with one arm (he literally did- he didn't use his left hand for fear of worsening his wrist injury). I'd LOVE to see Ericsson go to town on his dog-ugly face with both hands.
-
Well I know one of the two is probably doing coke off a hooker's ****...
-
See! Even Duck Guy agrees. God help Neids if Duck Guy saw him do this to Holmer!
-
That elbow on Datsyuk was absolutely brutal... ******* pathetic if Neidavacation plays game 7. Wow he's a ******* *****- Visor adjustment? It's called being a chicken s***.
-
Yep. The refs are terrified to give the instigator penalty, even when deserved (as it was in 2 or 3 cases tonight- Neidavacation, Getzlaf and Perrythepussy). I have zero, ZERO confidence that the NHL will hand out suspensions to Neidavacation, Getzlaf or Perrythepussy. Getzlaf's vaginal behaviour against Hossa wasn't so terrible, but Neidavacation's cheap shot was utterly gutless and Perrythepussy's actions fulfilled the very definition of 'instigator'.

Just like he was against the 2007 Sharks, 2007 Flames and 2007 Ducks? I seem to remember him being nearly a point per game player against those teams.
-
This would be his second bad performance. The last one- he had to have fluid drained from his thigh in between periods.
-
Good point- injuries all heal within one week. Surely one can't be injured for an extended period of time.
-
By the way- Datsyuk is clearly injured. Watch him out there- he can't shoot properly. He dangles then passes, even when he has a great shot in front of him.
-
And how is Datsyuk's performance this series compare to the monumental choke job Malkin had against the Wings in the FINALS? Surely one bad playoffs (in progress) is the defining characteristic of a player's career.
-
I wholeheartedly agree. Modano's a class act and a fantastic hockey player. A first ballot hall of famer, no question.
-
Fair enough. When your team's average age is like 19 making it to the Western Conference Finals ain't much to complain about.
-
This. Anyone who thinks Maltby or Draper will be ousted before their contract is over is crazy (barring injury, of course). A big reason why the Wings manage to get people to sign for less for them is their loyalty and commitment to the players who committed to them.
-
Ericsson was brilliant tonight. His defensive play was second only to Lidstrom out there.
-
Plus, he'd be using his glove to make that save anyway, if it's a shot on the ice I can see a strong case for interference.
-
After this series all the rest will feel like a cake walk!
-
But I'm interested damn it!
-
I've got to agree man. I'm watching too and hoping for a Hawks win. It helps that the Hawks look pretty damn beatable in a 7 game series, but by the time the Wings would get to them Kane might be healthy again.
-
It's not much of a leap of logic to compare Ovi to the only other people in that series who play the same role as him. No problem.
-
As does Crosby and Malkin. What's your point? None of those three backcheck or show interest in the defensive zone. They're all floaters.
-
Yeah- you better replace the 3rd best puck handling/passing forward on the team.
-
I'd take that option if it meant not having O'Hollabackgirl ref the game. Unfortunately I'm not sure you can pen him down for only one goal lost/caused-against the Wings. f*** Dan O, f*** him with a pineapple.
