I believe he's saying that Cherry respects Swedish players? In Canada our regional areas are broken into provinces, so he's implying that if Cherry only likes Canadians then Sweden must be a province of Canada.

Why doesn't he? He plays the least out of all the wings rookies and LEADS them in scoring. Has nine goals, 2 GWG, twice as many goals as Flip (even though he's awesome- I'm not saying Flip's worse then Huds, so don't jump down my throat) a 14.1 Pct, +7 (despite being on the line that's probably the second most likely to get reamed). As for the line- well Huds is a centre, so I'd say: Flip Huds Cleary

Then here's my question- why doesn't the Caps' coach put Semin and Ovetchkin on the same line and see if he can pull off a Babcock? Remember when Dats and Z were feeling slumpy?

Based purely on the shots on goal I'd say the less used players of the team are seeing more ice- possibly to showcase talent that's potentially on the trading block?

I know! I wish I could too. My only game was the Wings v. Hawks game on New Years eve 1999. No Dom in nets, but I still got to drool over all the classic wings ('xcept Vlad of course ). I'd really love to see more NHL exhibition games in Atlantic Canada next year. We had the Pens in Hali this year (not a shocker since Sid's still the ultimate hometown boy), but no winged wheels
