I've always liked watching the MSG feeds when we play a NY team and I can't get one with the FSN Detroit crew. The quality always seems pretty high and their announcers are pretty professional. Last one I remember was when Emery smiled like a mad man as he beat the s*** out of some poor bastard.

Now that they're basically out of the playoffs we can expect attendance to rise next season as fans surge through the tunrstiles to see the winning club NJ has on the ice. I'm not sure how it's all that different than the Islanders if we assume the Forbes valuation is correct. According to Forbes the Devils are worth $3,000,000 more than the Islanders. Then again the Montreal Expos are on that list even though they're now the Nationals so who knows what's going on there.

This is true in the NHL today but in the old days it was common to see right handers that shot right (and lefties that shot left). Well those 9 wins didnt' exactly come from playing playoff quality hockey.
