It's hard to imagine a Wings victory when they're 40% on the draw given how critical puck possession is to Wings success.

Oh in no way am I arguing that Ericsson wasn't terrible tonight. He was. 100% I just think that as a group the Wings were terrible defensively and with regards to puck managment. 19 turnovers in one game? When you're losing the turnover game 5 to 19 there's some real trouble.

Also: Who failed to clear the puck right before the tying goal was scored? Stuart. Who committed the turnover that lead to the game winning goal in OT? Helm. There's a whole locker-room full of goats in Detroit right now..

Agreed 100%. These blown leads, inability to stop turning over the puck and bad penalties have to stop. This is where a veteran team is supposed to be able to pick themselves up out of the muck and start turning things around. Right now they're playing like a bunch of rookies out there.

Ericsson: -1, 1 turnover Stuart: -3, 3 turnovers Kronwall: -1, 1 turnover (gets a pass because, unlike Ericsson and Stewie, he wasn't bad tonight) Rafalski: +3, 3 turnovers (the three turnovers are inexcusable from a 1st pairing d-man) Team: 19 turnovers, 6 minus players Did Ericsson make stupid plays tonight? Absolutely! Was Stuart worse? Absolutely. On a team that made 19 turnovers I hardly think Ericsson's 1 turnover warrants his trip to the gallows on here. Stuart was on the ice for every single goal against tonight. But Ericsson is the goat? lol

Lidstrom's been a point per game player over the last 14 games. He's turned things around just fine. If he keeps up the ppg pace he'll finish with a respectable total.
