They're do like the Pens. Have a "core" of 3 guys and change all the others every year. Then they will make it into the playoffs, beat a couple of weak teams in 7 games, have all the good teams in the conference lose and play the defneding champs when the champs #1 and #2 D men are injured; their #1 forward misses most of the series, their #4 d-man misses the entire series get excused from an automatic suspension and from all this they will win the cup. Interesting problem. When Fil comes back in a couple of weeks somebody has to go. Miller, May, Abby or Eaves You can't send down Miller or May. I'm not sure about Eaves. My bet is that Abby goes back to GR where he can play more minutes.

He's only on the first line because of injuries. Fil will be back soon and he will be on the first line with Pav. Bert will move back to the 3rd or 4th where he belongs. First line is a stretch for Fil but he has chemistry with Pav and we don't have alot of other ooptions until Mule comes back.

Pav is much more than just a goal scorer. He also has 13 assists. He's historically a slow starter. Are you saying that he will finish with 6 goals for the year? That's just stupid.

We aren't going to trade our way out of this 6 game slump. And lastly it hasn't been "the past few weeks". It has been 6 frickin games. Last 6 games 1-4-1 Previous 10 7-2-1 The 6 game slide started on November 18 which was 10 days ago. You need to get a grip on reality.

Fil and Pav have shown great chemistry together. Fil may or may not be a 30 goal scorer but he's certainly capable of 20 and a definite improvement over Bert.

Oh for Christ's sake. Franzen is out until March which is 4 more months not 4-6 more Kronwall is 4-8 weeks so you assume the max Flip will be back in a couple more weeks not 6-8 weeks more. The Wings are 10 points behind the top team in the west with 4 frickin games in hand and only 6 points behind the division leader with a game in hand. They are 7-2-1 in the last 10 games. exactly! Having an enforcer would not have mattered. I honestly don't think that Laroque intended to injure Kronwall and even if he did, I doubt that a potential fight with May would have detered him.
