Which team would piss you off the most if they won the cup?

And you can now strike #1 off that list. BLACKHAWK DOWN! -

And #4 HAS A CHANCE OF FALLING TOMORROW NIGHT! -
Fleury = s***ting the bed hard. If PIT was serious about trying to win, they'd have at least tried Brent Johnson. The same Johnson that propelled the Blues over the Blackhawks back in 2002.

I'll answer this thread. NO!

New offseason plan for Holland: Retire. You're old. You've gotten complacent. Get The f*** Out. Nill or Yzerman, new GM of the wings. After all, Yzerman built that team that took gold for Canada in 2010, not Gretzky. I just don't think Tampa is ready to let go of him. Yzerman will get Tampa a goalie and they'll be back in the playoffs next year.

I'm imagining a rolled sign that would be wide enough to cover the doors from left to right in big font.
-
I'm going to be in Detroit on business next week..... Anyone wanna pay me to make a sign that says FIRE HOLLAND and tape it to the front door of the Joe?
-
This is the way it is then. All I gotta say is that if Lidstrom retires this season, HOLLAND, YOU BETTER OWN UP TO YOUR PROMISE. "If Lidstrom retires, so will I"

been at work now for 8 1/2 hours and i'm watching it at my desk. LET'S GO RED WINGS!!! HUDLER FOR MAYOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE CAMPAIGN HASN'T STOPPED!

I'm a fan of a curse on the latter. Don't forget, Megabomb, that you have to HOLD ON TO THE BALL before you get up and start celebrating.

This is the first time i've posted in a GDT PLAYOFF thread since the game 7 loss in 09. I think it is time for my return. DETROIT 5 (Zetterberg, pasha x2, Hudler, Miller) NASHVILLE 1 (Erat) IF THE SHIP GOES DOWN TONIGHT, I'M GOING WITH IT. LET'S GO RED WINGS!

I think the Refs have been given direction from Buttman and Shanny to start cutting way down on the fighting that's been going on. And all this could've been probably avoided had Weber gotten at least 2 games for his action in game 1 of the playoffs. Precedent was set. Hopefully now we've learned from it and we're moving forward.

Lest we forget, Jimmah was leading the league in wins most of the season and at the front of the line for VEZINA consideration until he injured his finger and his groin. I could see Luongo returning to Florida. Tampa has effectively no goalies next year with Roloson likely to hang it up or not get resigned, and Garon, who's been a career backup for a reason. Florida has Jose Threeormore, and Clemmensen, who's been a career backup behind Brodeur, not to mention the GM who breaks bank accounts for a living, Dale Tallon. Jersey could take him, but with the ownership situation the way it is and money being tight there, I wouldn't be surprised to see them go cheap for goalies after Brodeur retires. Could always call up the Goalie Hoarder, Garth Snow, see if the Isles want him.

If Holland doesn't do justice and pick up some POWER FORWARDS, WRECKERS, OR PHYSICALITY, we've got a big problem...and Illitch needs not waste his time in Firing Holland. The same man who told us all "I'll retire when Lidstrom retires" had better have his money where his mouth is. WE AS A FANBASE SHOULD NOT PUT UP WITH SUB-PAR MANAGEMENT, AND I EXPECT MR AND MRS ILLITCH TO DO THE SAME.

The Sun not only came out today in Centerton, IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL BLUE SKY DAY AND 72 F! Excellent day for swordplay

Taken from my post last night in the holland's offseason plan topic: It is glaringly obvious to me, several others on this forum, and should be to YOU READING THIS NOW, that we need to have a 3rd line or 4th line that needs WRECKERS. Not goons, not speed guys, we need a 3rd line of guys who can: 1. Play the body and win in a collision 2. Shore up team grit 3. Stand up for Howard and stop the snow showering/running bs, because Howard is the only enforcer of the crease we seem to have. 4. Have enough puck handling ability to scoop the biscuit away from a hit player and transition down the ice. Start naming players and send it off to Holland and Illitch's offices.

I hate to say this....As a Bears Fan it gave me pleasure to see the soul-less, shocked, out of touch look on FORMER GM Jerry Angelo's face after the Bears were taken in OT by the Denver Tebows last year....and Angelo is now GONE FROM CHICAGO. If this series should end on Friday, and it gives Holland a soul-less, shocked, out of touch look to go in front of Mike and Marian Illitch and all of Detroit and explain what happened....I might cheer for him to get canned. Since 2008 and 2009, when we lost The Drake, Lilja, Downey, McCarty, and others that contributed to our hitting stats and team grit, We've lost in the 2nd round twice to a team that covered our goalie in snow showers and didn't have to answer for it. and Now we're losing to a team that is well-coached, but we haven't punched them in the teeth over it. It is glaringly obvious to me, several others on this forum, and should be to YOU READING THIS NOW, that we need to have a 3rd line or 4th line that needs WRECKERS. I cannot excuse Franzen's contract. Yes, he led the team in goals. The team spreads the goals around, so we don't have any 30-40-50 goal scorers. Perhaps we need to goad Franzen into USING HIS SIZE MORE OFTEN. When you're big and strong like a mule, you should be able to motor over someone like a mule. a POWER FORWARD. Shanahan wasn't Mule's size, but he sure did play with heart and...Won in a collision and showed us some true grit while scoring goals.... The top 2 lines should be easier addressed. Z, Pasha, Franzenstein (if he can use his size) i would put as our top 3 forwards. Bert....I think Bert needs to get mean again or get out. Cleary's been injured/less than 100%, but by god you can't say he didn't try this series. Our forwards need to start crashing the net. Not just having our D check up and get closer to the dots to shoot rebounds. That leaves us open for odd man rushes. oh, and some CENTERS WHO CAN WIN FACEOFFS. As far as our D Corps/coaching, Lidstrom is either gone this year or next. Stuart is gone to California after this year. Smith needs to come up next year and STAY UP. Ericsson needs to PLAY LIKE THE BIG BODY HE IS (look to Fischer for guidance) Kronwall will keep murdering people. White needs to become more defensively disciplined. Otherwise he's Rafalski without the offensive upside making us forget about his defensive lapses. Who would we pick from this year's crop of FA d-men to try and replace or effectively conceal our upcoming even more glaring D Holes?
