Trade Hudler, a bag of pucks and Kris Draper's left skate blade for stamkos. GIT R DONE KENNY!

Quit Yer Bitchin!!!! Back on topic, the Wings will skate circles around Chicago's 3rd and 4th lines at this rate. Good going Rocky!

Simple. Heatley is happy that he can go somewhere he can be the Hero. Minnesota has had scary good goaltending since Roloson/Fernandez. With Backstrom/Harding, they're still scary good in the net. Defenceman are still at least half-assed, even with Burns gone. Havlat hasn't been the same player since Kronwall ended him. Perhaps playing with Thornton/Pavelski/Marleau will turn him around. looking now for Minnesota to roll up this year in the still-weak Northwest. I think they take Nashville's traditional 7th or 8th spot this year.

Cogliano was in the NHL Allstar speed competition a couple years back and won it.....If the price is right, Yes. Put him with Eaves and Draper. Make it a New Energy line.
-
of course Jovo + Campbell = unknown at this point.
-
So because Rocky Wirtz turned Hockey into front page news in 3 years, every Chicago businessman wants to cash in too? Reinsdorf? Hulsizer? now this guy?

I'll take only $250 a year, AND work at Little Caesar's on the side! GET R DONE KENNY!

XL Center is not suitable because the sightlines in it suck and the building as a whole is outdated. The risers for the stands go nearly straight vertical. Sending them Joe Louis Arena would be an upgrade. Otherwise, Quebec is building, and has a company/owner ready to buy. KC...well, just with the Royals and Chiefs the market is saturated. Their last few forays into hockey have ended badly, but that was at Kemper Arena which is in the railyards, and they have the new Sprint Center, in the middle of Downtown. Probably generate better revenue there overall, but i'm not sure it'd be enough. Golden Horseshoe deserves a team. Hamilton/Kitchener/Waterloo. Unfortunately, Balls-silly and MLSE will see that never happen. Seattle needs to renovate or replace KeyArena. Portland OR would be ok, depending on Paul Allen's whim since he owns the Rose Garden. Houston TX: 4th Largest City, HORRIFICLY BAD attendance for the AHL team though. Grand Rapids anyone? Edit: Then there's the Pipedreams of Regina, Saskatoon, etc.

Bergfors had an EXCELLENT season in NJ his first year out. Then got traded to the southeast.

Ian White would be an upgrade over Rafalski. Can shoot, can backcheck. Wiz would be excellent given this team's lack of playoff wreckers since 2008 (McCarty, Drake), and WE NEED A WRECKER. Ericsson.....I'd sign him for 1-2 years and if he hasn't figured out his s***, send him packing. Jovo would be a One More Year situation, same as Modano last year and Drake in 08. Ehrhoff, yea he's blossomed in VAN, but that's after going from stuck on the depth chart in SJ underneath their 24 carat d-corps from 2 years ago, to being the last guy standing uninjured in Vancouver most of the year. You can't deny that. I think he's a slightly above average talent whom someone will overpay for this year.

Latest Rumor: NHL Team Expected to Announce Rebranding in 2012

If it's going to be sponsor based, let them be the Florida Carnival Liners...That way they can still break down midway through the season and be airlifted some pop tarts and spam to munch on while waiting for the draft to start. -
I about died reading that! I fail to see though where Bryzgalov is getting 6-7 million. The goalie that beat him the last 2 years has a contract that takes effect this year for 2.25, and he pushed for a backdoor sweep in the playoffs. Crawford in Chicago got 2.67 for bailing out his team to get to the playoffs and THEN backstopping them to a near backdoor sweep. Current cap hit is 4.25. Let's face it. Beyond Brodeur, Thomas, Miller, and Ro8erto 7uongo, I don't see there being another 6-7 Mil goalie.

I'd like to see it shared use between the Pistons and Wings, since: 1. Pistons will attract more downtown traffic, and that might help bolster land values in the area, attract more interest, and accelerate the rebuilding/renewal of the city. When Reinsdorf and the late Dollar Bill built the United Center next to where old chicago stadium used to sit, that neighborhood was in horrific shape. Shootings were normal, carjacking and b&e were rampant. UC is finished in 94 and the boost of traffic and security has quelled that down. 2. We have THE BEST ice crew in the LEAGUE. I don't think they'd back down from the challenge of converting board floor to ice rink. If they really wanted to look at somewhere that has decent ice between b-ball and hockey, look at the United Center. 3. A new up-to-date facility would also attract shows, that would otherwise go to the Palace in Auburn Hills and away from the City. This relates to #1. Just did a quick search, Palace has concerts almost every day the rest of the month. The Joe has...American Idol tour...then nothing until August.

I'm with RF19. I'm tired of Howard being the prime enforcer on this team. We need someone who can handle a pass and make a decent pass or shoot and not back down from a fight. I'm tired of running into these damn goon squads that keep running our players, and these other teams that play tough but ham it up and dive in the playoffs (then again, if that gets you to the Western Conference Final...)

Thomas is in the blue when he throws the check. I say that's fair game since you can't harass the Goalie in the crease, he can keep you (and the puck) out of it. It's better than getting love-tapped by Holmstrom's butt and acting as if you got shot from the grassy knoll

Should have a new History Will be Made commercial. History Bites its way to a 2-0 lead

Tulsa tied for 16th! Look at the top 4 though. Boston, Providence, Buffalo, Hartford. 3 of them are Bruins Territory. Yes, One of the big reasons HFD didn't last was because it was...well, Bruins territory. That and the Hartford Civic Center had some poor sightlines and is steep in pitch for the stands.
