I agree with the boring game sentiment. But it was worth staying up for, for sure. I'm glad more and more people are seeing that Ozzie may not be flashy or scream superstar, but he is still SOLID. Solid is important.

I wouldn't. Don't make any week one panic moves. Plaxico had a good game, but expect him to be up and down each week. If the Eli injury turns out to be more than just a day to day thing or he gets REALLY injured, then Plax loses more value. Thomas Jones looks good, but he's also injury prone. Leon Washington will still get a decent amount of carries, which will take away from Jones - especially if he aggravates any injury and needs a break in the game. Jackson + Mojo will have better weeks than this one. And in case no one has done it, you might want to pick up RB Derrick Ward for NYG with Jacobs out for a few weeks, since Chris Henry might not even get a real shot this year.

I really enjoyed this draft because it was so unpredictable. I completely pulled away from my strategy after the 1st round. Ninth pick overall is kind of a middle of nowhere pick - so I did my best. Plus, I didn't realize there was only 2 WR spots (I've only played with 3 spots before)). I'm weak at RB, but I figure I can flip CJ, Holt, or Fitz and something for a nice number 2 RB eventually. Oh and for those mentioning incentive-based contracts, I thought I read on another board that you have to be over 35 for performance bonuses. So it is not possible to do for Yashin. Here it is: "Players 35 and older as of June 30 in the League Year that they sign a contract may earn performance bonuses, as well as players with 400 or more games played and who spent 100 or more days on injured reserve in the last year of their most recent contract; however, in these two cases, performance bonuses are only allowed for 1-year contracts. People really get opinions about players and stick to it like glue. It is really mind boggling. I think Yashin would flourish here. Plus, he has really matured since his younger days.
