I'd be way for letting Hudler and Flip man a second line and see how things work (don't know about Grigs, even if he's been in a pro league for years now). It's probably going to end like this though: Flip - Datsyuk - Holmstrom Samuelsson - Zetterberg - Franzen Maltby - Draper - Cleary Hudler - Kopecky - Grigorenko Since Sammy has never seen a shot he hasn't liked, Babs has never seen a Samuelsson he hasn't loved. Hudler will eat 4th line minutes all year long... whether or not the kid has more potential than "Mr. WHADDYA MEAN WAIT?"

Minus Lang, that is basically the same exact forward roster we had last year. We will be okay. Bobbert was special, but he wasn't... you know... that kind of special.

I get what you mean, and yeah - they usually do. I wouldn't want to hear the "yo i hate what he is and did to Moore and all that" spiel and then turn around either, and Reem can definitely talk for herself, but that's not what I pick up from her. Bert's in the past already for me, but the trade deadline ain't gonna come fast enough.

I know what you mean, but at the same time players like Kopecky and Sammy aren't part of the answer on size anyway either. I'd sooner dump Kopecky than Hudler, but then again I haven't watched the guy play healthy with games under his belt.

It's the waste from the river puckhog. Bondra is such a known name for the nineties... and I'd want him, too. I don't know about his injuries in Chicago however, that's the biggest thing - his season with the Thrashers was decent though

You're taking the hate/dislike of Bert too literally--she means she didn't like the guy because he was a ***** to play against. That's all. This isn't a Pronger kind of loathing there, just a competitive one I think it was about money too. But why did people take a shine to him? Ask yourself: Why the buzz in the media in the first place then? people were excited because Bert filled a role we were/are sorely not lacking, but -empty- in. That's why... we'll see in Anaheim if he's still got anything in him, but I agree on the overpaying--but at this point, it doesn't really matter does it? We got no one and 7mill left to toss around. He could, but he could go back to playing like he has the past few years. That's no knock on Dano, he's one of my favorite guys on the roster right now. We know what we have in Z... we're still (re-!)finding that out with Clears. If he brings it again this year, I'm thrilled at the thought really.
