Only 3.8. Your cute little barbecue sauce girl is early
-
It was when you started gnawing on the walls, I believe. If you hadn't... you wouldn't have had a fate like this man or reminded me of your shared destinies:
-
lol, yo también ^^
-
This is still going on? I feel like I saw this last week. And now it is a perpetual act like Sisyphus.
-
You two are one of those perfect matches in terms of hockey fandom, Os. (you and Jen... not Feds and you ha!) I don't even want to know how many jerseys you have combined and all that other nerdy memorabilia stuffed up around in your guys' house somewhere
-
Dom simply has the worst massive raincloud over his head ever. Next year he won't be able to doom the Pistons and us because--he'll be busy leading the Wings back to the Finals. I actually don't watch basketball at all, it's not my game although I do appreciate it when I view it like a lot of sports. I'm downright surprised at 'Sheed and the boys this year though--I though they'd come back hard after last year's Spurs fallout.
-
Clever. But if you weren't so quick to jump all over that, you'd realize that wasn't a bitching post. Seriously, you are looking for a fight, and you're going out of your way to make them happen.
-
That is sick, I can't believe we're going to have two playoff flops. I mean, ooo.... where's the panic button for the whiners.... Poor Pistons.
-
You guys all are losers. I salute your creativeness. You are still word artistly losers, and not at all sexy losers.
-
In a way I like Nashville having a strong hockey team. I'll miss them more than I would, say, Phoenix. A few weeks ago I was thinking... "good! Take the team to Ontario! It'll be better there and it's a better market." But now I wonder. Yes. To say the least...
-
There ain't nothin' bad to if it you are, sometimes people get the "best" of both worlds so to speak "w-nut" :rotflmao:
-
Hahaha, nah not really. I'm just saying it because Reem was messing with you about the babyface. Although you do have some similarities... I could buy the cousin bit. This is lol worthy wingnut, gotta love the fyi
-
You sure you're not bffs with Ozzie, Lou? 'cos you jes' sure dern look at least like a cousin!
-
This is where someone should go in in and say all up like: "That's because they're boys. What you need are men." oh, wait... This is my new favorite emoticon on any corner of the internet. Because I am strong, yet sensitive.
-
The next JLA game you guys go to, she should look precisely like that Matt. Sans the cake and with facepaint. Or with cake, if you so prefer a snack.
-
Two answers: 1) No, it's not. 2) Yes, I have. No one wants Feds and Kozlov back because they were part of the old teams. We say they are valuable because they are valuable. Not because we are irrational, sentimental critics of hockey. I wouldn't say Kozlov is at all washed up.... unless you think that opinion is valid regardless of facts and his point production with the Thrashers.
-
Seriously. Let go of the "you just want to bring back the past" argument. It's dead. I know Feds would be a deal in Feb. without a doubt. Slava's still a question mark to me.. and that's because I think it could be a liability for us to not grab a grittier and skilled guy, similar to harold. It also could not, but we may need something else more.

I know nothing about Toews and how he'd receive it, but that's the subtext I got too: that head nod to the kid breaking into a bad club, if he needs the vote of confidence. It's definitely a classy gesture. Maybe the article left out the rest where Wirtz is offended and rants at Tallon about how "JONATHON IS GOOD ENOUGH TO PLAY ON THE BLACKHAWKS, we really are great folks.... you'll see"
-
It depends. If Wirtz was replying to emphasize that he's Detroit-caliber, then that's right. It sounds more like he was contesting Tallon instead, but who knows, it's an article. - "Yzerman said he was as good as any player he had," Tallon said. "He said he could play for Detroit," Wirtz said.
-
We'll actually have a reliable knee-deep offense with Dats and Z up front, then Slava and Sergei on #2. Whatever people say about Feds being washed up, I believe that the guy would pick it up again after coming back to Hockeytown. His largest mistake may have been in leaving--he's 38 now, but forget it, the man has skills still. I don't care what a lot of you say. If we did both deals though I'd consider it wise to pick up another "tough guy" to add in there like Bert could be again. We need the finishers like Koz and Feds, but we don't want to hamstring ourselves for what toughness next year brings either.
-
TSN.ca is reporting that Dano will be joining Duran Duran on tour this summer. The guy will come into training camp off that on fire.
-
I am not saying a word at all. Except for this: LGW late night hos 4 lyfe!!

Whenever this topic pops up, I get weirded out by reading any of that guy. Welcome back (by the way), Lou! I pretty much agree on all major points with your novel ...especially with the grit from Babs, Cleary's playoff performance, and letting go of Malts. I really didn't even expect anything much out of Cleary, figuring that the guy shone for fifteen minutes half-way through the season and that he'd returned to normal after that. It'll be interesting to see him next year, I don't doubt.
-
This is spot on. Whatever kind of guy is doing this, Sergei or someone else... that's one of the higher needs for the Wings. I'm pretty sure Kenny knows this, and Babs knows this. This was crucial to our playoff success. Dom was fine, our defense would have been fine if it weren't on the injured reserve, it's the offense that sputtered out and suffocated the team.
-
I'm always pretty impressed by guys who take a cut for the good of playing on a contender, but with Bert there's also the fact that he probably can't go too many places that'll definitely chance on him. Less skilled teams will... But not many of the organizations that already are Cup-ready necessarily'll think him that important. Regardless, I still think if he's willing to think more of the team than his own paycheck that's respectable, and with what he's said about the guys and the atmosphere of the club... that adds. He's already a bit of a fan fav, but if he finds his niche again and starts skating next year... well, we all know it. He'll be huge in the hearts of Hockeytown.
