I'll actually be down in Motown tonight, so this game is signed, sealed, delivered, it's yours. I kind of wish we could get down there with a couple hours before game time... I go to Detroit very infrequently, and I'm kind of itching to actually see a bit of the area and what decent pre-game restaurants they have. Games are better when you have that time, without a doubt.

To be with Will Ferrell, no doubt. Rabi, don't do it, he says that to everyone. Stay in Chicago.
-
Rex is incredible. They do not teach this stuff, my friends! "Q. What's the best part about living in Detroit? A. Playing for the Red Wings. Q. That is a very cute answer. A. It is the truth."
-
It isn't "LOL" quality, but this is why it's a good prank thread: Get it?
-
It has to be good. It has Will Ferrell saying, "Hey Kerrigan, you got a nice kaboose!" Amberlynn, please say yes! I want to see it if so.
-
I still think the best part about the whole broadcast, was Lebda's snubbing Pierre on the bench. Hands down, that made the NHL on NBC worthy. It's gold to ignore a guy with pesky questions, then come back quick when he says it's nationally televised.

I've decided to give it to the "Save a Lilja" foundation so that any sons or daughters of Andreas can grow up to be good hockey players. Sorry Rabi! Hank so approved, he decided we are BFFs and we're hangin' in D-town on Tues. The good news, is that he gave some of his cash to J Dub and he'll spot you at the United Center.

I think this is the first April fools thing that I've seen that's gotten anyone, haha. omg! Good one, Tim!
-
Columbus does have some pretty fine ones! I know.
-
Last Night "Man, why aren't the Canucks taking it to the Flames?? Where's Bertuzzi!?!?!"
-
*disinterested shrug* *look away* *ears perk* "Really?"
-
It's totally filling Lillypad with glee though. He knows his voodoo is consistent and he'll never leave the roster! Would he know what to do on a breakaway though? I think he'd get so excited, and nervous, and happy all at once that he'd biff it and collide with the Columbus netminder!

Hahahaha!!! I'd approve of the Griffins taking on the Blackhawks. That would be devastating. I wonder if they'd really beat them....
-
I think everyone would agree that the Stars are our best pick. Our worst? SJ, Calg, and Vancouver. However, longterm, I'm thinking we'll at least face one of them. I'm seeing the Flames as a sure-bet for the 8th seed.. and the Wild, Dallas, and SJ will float between the #5 and 7 spots. This is my dream situation for how the 1st round squares up though: #1 NASH v. #8 CAL #2 ANA v. #7 SJ #3 VAN v. #6 MIN #4 DET v. #5 DAL But I'm not sure if we shouldn't face the Flames and be forced to get our crap together at the beginning. Or if that'd mean another first round exit.

Let Buffalo have it. We can still top the West without winning that hunk of bad luck trash.

It's almost like going out in the 0th round, basically. And this is definitely a mini-playoffs between the two: points-wise, but they also have two games remaining against eachother in the last five-four. Calgary's game schedule? Vancouver tonight, San Jose, and Edmonton. The Avs? Canucks as well, then the Preds. If they beat Calgary twice, win against either Van. or Nash, and the Flames sizzle out on all three of their last performances... they can squeak into the post-season. The most lee-way they've got? Calgary can go, tops, 1/5 on this and the Avs have to pick up all four of theirs. I honestly don't think Colorado will do it though. You guys put up a good fight this year--but we'll see you again in the fall, my mile high semi-amigos.

Sammy will pull out a huge game winning goal in a crucial playoff match-up, then you all will be flocking back! It's truth at its best!
-
Those PPP numbers? Sexy! If only the other guys could keep up.

It sounds like someone should put the Lillypads beacon into the sky! The Commish has urgent news about the Joker! When Kronner couldn't straighten his body out vertically last night, I should have figured it was something in that area. Mickey thought it was his right leg... but he was bent in a certain position when he got to his knees, and he couldn't even stand straight once he got to his feet. That just sucks, he's going to be bedridden for a while, I think.
-
Yeah, I just spotted the headline at the top of the page. Fractured hip, ouch! That sucks! If anything, I hope his recovery goes decently.
-
We wouldn't have cared then, thus no rivalry. Let's go with the "good, rivalrific teams" for the win. Also? President's trophy = nada! It's like being spoiled and greedy for poop. We've had poop many times before, and s*** ourselves the playoffs. I'd like to keep it a little cleaner this time.

Ouch, no way jose. We already have a tough enough time catching a good game, we don't need the league watered down with another approval of "expansion". Where by expansion, I mean 'craptaculating the NHL'. It does sound pretty cool on paper, and having D-town and Columbus in the East is stellar. But I'd be happy if we didn't see expansion for another fifteen years--let everything catch up, if it's even possible, and all. Reg. season games can be incredible sleepers.

This guy tried to say Drury once, but then this happened half-way through: But I haven't kept tabs on mister Drury to know his game. No opinion yet on that one.
-
It definitely would, but I think I've heard about the Chicago folk's ownership woes there with the Hawks. Very little really, but it's ridiculous, I know. I'm glad we don't have a situation of poor management/ownership like that... but at the same time, I'd ever be ready for ticket prices coming down. I'd sooner catch a Tigers game than the sport I favor. $40/per for infield box seats? Sure!

HoH, you got the inside track down! Toronto hasn't won a Cup in eons: Detroit just sucked hard tonight and obviously is going to flop, as LGW prophets have proclaimed. They are perfect for the road of the dinosaur! It is the secondary hash from your buddy's room, isn't it. I knew Bob sacrificed physical quality for religious visions.
