I wholly apologize, mi amigo. If only the NHL had female general managers and coaches, then no one would have suffered that.

It's amazing, I don't know if anyone gets as much out of scoring as Rex can. The guy's face there is incredible, HC, it is truly incredible. I feel that if the Wings ever traded him, it would pass a cloud over good Rex in the way that being truly screwed over or even simply being dumped by a first "true love" can steal part of a good-hearted, though naive person's inner shine. With that in mind I hope the team should never take Huds all the way to bed, get him emotionally attached, and whisk him out the door the next morning. If you guys do the first part - and I'm lookin' at you, Babs and Kenny - make sure to put a ring on that kid's hand. Do not even start imagining those two previous sentences in your head. It is gross.

If you're ever looking for a good schooling in the future, the forum-goers are always there for you. I'd offer, but we both know that some things can just be overkill. I am soooooooo going to bed now... Red Wings Weekly, in eight hours? Will I? Can I? Could I? Should I? I may just. I may just.

I say: he just needs to get decked again. It worked once, it can work again! Obviously it's how things work in Bobby's head: Violence solves everything.

I believe that is the best photo of the night, even better than any of Lebda completely crushing that Blackhawk before Motty Lapointe took issue with the clean check. I also highly appreciate the attentiveness of each face in the background to what's happening. The guy on the left is in silent fixed rapture, the middle man is shocked and awed, the third is in a state of peaceful contemplation. While the ladies - in particular the bottom granny - really seems to be saying, "I understand your pain. You know, I do. I once had that happen to me in the fifties with a hat and boy did it piss me off too."

I believe that a quick google may have turned it up. This might not be it but it definitely looks close. http://www.amazon.com/Detroit-Red-Wings-Vi...0602138-6183166

She's our resident doctor-to-be. I'd trust that there.

And if it isn't, it will just give you the s***s. If you're lucky.

I would not be able to contain myself if Bert steamrolled someone in his New Balances Hey terri! Is Pavel offering to get you a goal, too?
-
Did you see Rex's face after that? I swear that was the biggest thing for him. I hope the guys don't screw up in the second half of the game and let Chicago back into this. That would just be utterly disgusting.
-
It's even less than a hit from behind, honestly - there was no way Bert could have imagined that this would have resulted. He punched him, yeah, sucker punched him, and then all of Moore's Avs teammates dogpiled him once he fell... which I don't know for sure if -that- was what did it, but it definitely is questionable. It's just sad.
-
I'd say that people in general need to get over it. It's done, no thing can "make up" for the fact that Moore can't play hockey anymore--I don't see why people have this need to try and fix the broken bottle of milk, when it's all over the floor. I think if anything Bert -is- somewhat responsible for any financial winnings... provided that Moore really will have need for it at any point in his life, considering, yeah, this -is- the NHL, and yeah, this -is- where people get paid thousands and millions of dollars just to play a simple game. I don't know what you could really say to your hubby though--if he thinks that about Bert, I doubt there's anything to change his mind. A lot of people don't change their minds in light of new evid. They just think what they want to, as long as they want to.

That is sick. I just.... I'm going to go stuff my face with pizza and forget that I just read that simulated-Drapes injury!

The answer: Yes and yes. Eddie knows all the bars in downtown Chitown, and therefore would be a valuable asset in any true St. Patty's day trolly ride then barhop. Someone would need to be assigned to keep him in check for the majority of the night, but if worse comes to worse, he can be knocked out and left in the corner of Smitty's with a few ounces, all to inspire another story in the news just like this.

so the next generation of Wings and Avs will immerse

The only COL/DET related rivalry anyone's set to experience anytime soon is "white, rye, or wheat" for their toast on Sunday morning. Seriously, yo. Also... I'm sorry... I dig the legend of the Stastny name and the new generation of the clan in the NHL.. but Peter sir, your son who plays for the Avs, Paul, still looks like he's yet to break out of midgets. Please insist he grow a beard or get a scar on his face. -
I've never heard of that in the nhl, if they ever polled guys in the past decade that'd be interesting: seeing which are natural rights, which are lefts, which are mixed-handed (different tasks with different hands, like shooting left but writing right as someone mentioned), then ambi. I don't know if 90% of them are mixed-handed... but that's up in the air. And I think I've read a discussion on where you want your strong arm on a stick here, or elsewhere before. That doesn't make sense to me, because your strong arm is usually lower on the stick, because it guides your feinting and passing, and thus your accuracy. Ideally you'd make a one-hand play (a pokecheck, or whatever) with your strong arm... but that's not how sticks are gripped. The most I diverge from that is when I'm barreling down on the net, I'll change hands on my stick and cradle/control it with my right arm, keep the monkey off my back with the left off-hand, then change back when I'm ready to deke last minute or corner snipe.

By the way, where's that avatar from interminded? Ozzie looks sharp in green. It's like he's ready for St. Pat's to start tonight--if we win. And someone said Chelios is resting a sore pubic bone er, groin, er lower body injury... I thought he was simply being rested, but then again, that might just be the downplayed explanation.

Bagpipes.. haha.... aw man, now I wanna go see Ireland. Forget this Michigan winter stuff. I'm kinda tempted to send the Tjarnqvist a card c/o the Oilers now...
-
haha, loo... I don't think that guy reads the whole posts. He went in on NFM and Wildwings yesterday and was like, "I can't believe you think your autograph is worth anything! Man!" Or at least... that is what I would hope. Otherwise all his friends will never crack one around him and then he'll never have any.

On lgw, we are all serious, all the time. For instance, me and HR40 have serious conversations all the time, and often have to stop ourselves, and talk about getting naked, like in that sig below! Would you like my autograph?
-
I'm sorry, but when Langerissimo opens himself for shots, I have to take them. It's unavoidable - just like a car crash. And oh yes... why can't Bert be stuffed into some rejuvenation tank and emerge twenty-four hours later prim and ready? I want to see this guy on the ice. One half of me doesn't like my own excitement.. because really, the excitement over Bert is precisely because he's big and tough, whereas the rest of the Wings? Not. I embrace this regardless, however.

*bows, bows* thankyew... I will be here all- ok, let's just not say that one.

So if he sits out two to three weeks, we should expect that ratio of points to games to just explode?

Oh, you die, you die now. Welcome to the boards! There are tissues available at the top of the board for Sunday. If you have need, do not hesitate. That's what they're there for.

I've heard lately that there's a lot of market reasons that Pittsburgh and Philly (not against eachother, but their games separately) get a lot of television time due to people in both areas tuning in a lot. But that's a little unrelated to this thing. I voted! Wings at 39.
