What the eff is wrong with you! Don't like him fine but wishing a guy has a career ending injury and throwing a party is just wrong. I hope you're a dumb azz 16 yo punk who doesn't know any better but I suspect you aren't. Honest to God people, be a fan of your team, boo guys but this kind of crap is just ridiculous. So disappointed in this poster and that no one called this out. I'm a RW fan too but pretty embarrassed about it right now -
Anyone know if drumnj's stream will be up for the game today?

Tardiff scores his second of the night on the PP early in the third 5 - 0

Playing really well despite flu sweeping the team. Lots of guys in but Tardiff and McGrath playing with the flu. Another great assist by McGrath on Vig's 2nd goal in 2 games. Why is it that whoever plays with McGrath seems to put the puck in the net? Last year was Frankie and Frankie. Should McGrath be ranked higher in our prospect polls and thoughts than he is?? The additions of Rissmiller and Nylander have really helped, especially on the PP. Also nice to see the goals against going down from last weekend.

Griffs take the lead on a goal by Vig but what a great play by McGrath to steal the puck, keep it in the offensive zone and feed it cross crease for the tap in.

Clearly these comments have not been updated for a while....I think if you had seen these guys play you would agree but let's look at stats: McGrath -top 5 in Griff scoring last two years (with very limited PP time) -top 5 in Griff +/- the last two years (actually Evan is actually very solid in the defensive end) -Griffs weren't in the playoffs two years ago and this year Evan missed due to injury so post season production comment is at least three years old and there is no statistical evidence to support it -Compete level is way up as the above stats illustrate -NOT the most physical player on the ice (but neither was Helm in GR) Ryan -increased scoring contribution each year with Griffs -become a leader and would probably be the 'C' this year -much more gritty and physical this past year -great (not good) on the PK Stats are just stats but if (by the parts you bolded) you are just looking for a banger or for Darren Helm part 2 these guys are not it. Ryan has limited upside but is a quality character guy who works his but off, gets his nose dirty (in an undersized way) and contributes while being a first unit PK guy. Evan has much upside (in my opinion). He has rebuilt (or built) a defensive game and is steadily building offensive numbers around his top 3 +/-. In my opinion Evan should get a real look this camp with Ryan looked at specifically for a limited minute specialty player.

I think the only real advantage Ryan has right now is 'fit'. If a 4th liner is really what they need Ryan is probably better suited if they are looking for a 3rd line winger McGrath is much better suited. Both are solid in their own end, Ryan kills penalty's but Evan can score. McGrath has more upside than Ryan does in my opinion.

Actually it's the second year that it didn't include disappointing. Remembering that he was a 4th round pick what would he need to do to "Show Something". I just think our expectations have been a little out of whack. Mgmt asked him to reconstruct his game and focus on defense which he did and his offense suffered but now he seems to have built the offense back up without sacrificing his own end. I think we both agree that THIS is the year that you throw him on that third line give him a REAL shot and if he doesn't work you forget about him and move on.
