Lol if this is true then add it to the list of things Babcock said he wanted that ended up not being true. 1. Biggest thing is where family wants to be. - Family wants to stay in MI 2. Money doesnt matter - Takes massive contract 3. Wants to win - Toronto is terrible 4. Is a coach and doesnt want to manage - Toronto offers coach/gm role. Toronto it is! -

Just once I want to see a player or coach man up and call the league out. Instead we will get the "next man up" talk and the DoPS will continue to be a joke.

So the standard for the league is hits like this are suspendable but Big Buff can full on sucker punch a guy in the back of the head with nothing. This league is a joke.

Howard isnt going anywhere. Like him or not hes still a quality veteran netminder which is what you want with a young goalie. Sure hes getting paid to be a number 1 and sitting but the goalie cap hit for him and Petr next year will be where you want your teams combined goaltending to be. Howard will only be moved when Petr demands #1 money or if Howard himself requests to be moved. In the case of him requesting a move dont expect to get much value. -

I agree he was twice the player hes been all series tonight. Set Nyquist up for two grade A chances that Nyquist somehow lost control of the puck. Was also wide open on Nyquists 10ft high saucer pass on a 3v1. -

Remember back when when Detroit was a powerhouse. Theyd get into the playoffs and start a series against a lesser team and that team would take a surprise lead. Then at the last moment when it seemed the lesser team would take command of the series Detroit would turn it on win the game and then win out the rest of the series. That was tonight only now the Wings are on the other end. Call it a series. Teams not gonna take 2 of 3 with two on the road. -

Our other goalies played behind the same defense and got shat on when they allowed goals. Petr seems to be getting a free pass tho because you know rookie or something weak like that. Yes hes playing strong but that doesnt mean squat when you allow a weak goal to swing momentum. No matter how bad the defensive play. -

It could be any goalie. If people are going to put Mrazek on a pedestal as the savior then they need to call him out on his shortfalls just like they would whoever else is in net. -

Being a rookie isnt an excuse. If a rookie is trusted to start a playoff game they need to be trusted to make the simple save. Thats Mrazeks downfall right now. -

With how well hes been playing Mrazek needs to stop that first goal. That opened the floodgates. Had Howard been in net and allowed this people would be calling to burn his house down.
