Disagree. The youngsters always have jump. Tatar, Nyquist, and tonight Jurco are bringing energy to every shift. The problem is the older players. Bert and Cleary are bringing nothing. Alfie seems like he never came back from the last trip to Ottawa. If Kronwall could actually hit the net for once it might help to. Every chance he gets hes shooting field goals over the net. Dats doesnt look like hes 100%

MIck hasnt been doing road trips for a couple years now. I think he goes on the road if its a quick one or two day trip but thats all. I like the information Ozzie gives but he just doesn't have the tone or voice to be the color guy. I think hes a heck of a lot better doing intermission analysis than up in the booth.

Kindl had some extra offensive jump last night which was good to see. Hes not a world beater and really hasnt developed into what the Wings expected but hes a decent 3rd pairing guy. In my opinion hes gone before his current contract is up once Sproul and Ouelett are ready. I also expect the wings to sign a top Dman within the next 3 years as well. Thats 3 spots the Wings will need to open up and Kronner, Big E, Dekeyser, and Smith are going nowhere which leaves him on the outs. Look at it this way. You could have Kindle or we could have the likes of Lebda. Your choice.

While I mostly agree with that statement losing those players shouldnt diminish the teams compete level though. They competed against NJ. Against Florida they looked like a team just showing up to the rink to collect a paycheck. I dont care how many players are missing. There is no way the Florida freaking Panthers should outshoot Detroit by almost 2-1 at the Joe.

Gotta say that was one of the most uninspiring performances Ive seen live. You know its bad when the Sammy, Emmerton, and Cleary line was the best all night. By the 2nd period I heard many comments saying they wished theyd put the MSU game on the big screen instead of this boring game.
