Does anyone else have problems listening to Murphy when hes wearing those glasses?

Im hoping Im wrong but Im thinking Minnesota takes this one tonight 4-3 or 3-2. The team is just to beat up and has been playing down to the level of lesser opposition.

I sure hope not. School administrators put there nose where it doesnt belong in terms of discipline to many times. Suspending kids for what they put on facebook and the such. If it doesnt happen on school property they can F off. And really flipping someone off it minor compared to the crap that goes on at school nowadays.

Theyve been good signings but far from big splashes. So winning a Cup has nothing to do with how good a squad is its all about getting hot. Right. Guess that 02 Wings team just got hot. The Kings were the better team today and save for the 1st period it wasn't even close. They just ran into a hot goalie. Something which we Wings fans know something about. Its 6-2 atleast without Howard.

Ya the team that was easily eliminated in the 1st round and then lost the 2nd best defender of all time while making no major splashes in the FA market is better than pretty much the exact same lineup that won the Stanley Cup. The Kings then outshoot Detroit 47-31 on the road. Are you really and idiot or do you just purposely say idiotic things.

Huskins has been one of if not our best defender over this season. It would be silly to sit him. I see him used more in a rotation than being outright scratched.

As soon as Gustavsson is back from injury Mrazek will be back down in the minors if not sooner. And thats where he should be getting starters minutes not backup minutes in Detroit. This is Howards team. That article lost all its credibility once it said that Howard has been average this year.

The guy doesnt thing he has to be accountable for any of his actions. I love how he said it was his decision to leave hockey. It was every other GM's decision when they didn't want this piece of trash on there team. The only thing I find redeeming about this guy is his support for equality among orientation in the major sports.

Franzen needs to be a man and go after him and drop the gloves. None of this childish spearing crap. But then again what do you expect from one of the softest "power forwards" to play. The guy is the king of the after whistle scrum.

Exactly he played well. Far from star of the show though. It was probably the best overall team effort from the Wings this season. He looks good for the future. Heres hoping Gustavsson gets back soon so Mrazek can go back down and start for Grand Rapids to develop more.

He was solid. I wouldnt say star. Your a star when you steal a game. He was what you hope you get from a rookie. Poised and solid.

I think in the back of Babcocks mind he isn't expecting to get much of a result tonight anyways even if he started Jimmy. Why not throw Mrazek in and see if it gives the team a little spark. I like the move. If he gets shelled against the best team in the conference it wont hurt his confidence as much as if he would have gotten shelled against a lower team.

This team has 15 other problems before you could even think of listing Howard as one of them. Most fans just see a goal being scored and are to stupid to realize how the goal was scored. They just see it go past the goalie and automatically blame the goalie.

So hes Hudler but faster and with a better hockey motor and hes not costing 4 million a year? Whats not to like.

I havent read the whole thread because I already know its full of the standard Detroit fan illogically blaming the goalie syndrome. But I will agree with the title Howard=Average... in one game this year. The rest of them he has been the Wings most consistent player along with Hank. If you think Howard is the problem you really need to start understanding the game of hockey and not base your opinion your pure idiocy. Mrazek may be the future but if you think the Wings will win more games this year with him as the starter then I am glad you have no part in running the wings. The rating of this thread just shows how stupid the OP's post is.

Wings were lucky with that 5 minute call but all in all played 100% better than opening night against St Louis. Its still painfull to watch this teams special teams. Those need to get worked out fast.

Ill gladly eat my crow tonight as I didnt think the wings would pull it out and really didnt expect Bert to perform like he did. I hope the old man can keep it up. Lashoff comming out for the 5-3 right away shows just how well this kid is playing. Him and Huskins are the best two defenders right now. Didnt think I would say that. Dan Cleary is playing like a plug right now. You can guarantee the guy will either fall down or easily be knocked off the puck every shift. Then he throws in two dumb penalties. Guy needs to pick his game up ASAP or he needs to be sitting on the pine. Detroit has enough Cleary like players to replace him.
