Well since it came from a Yotes fan I'm really not putting much weight into that side of the story. Seems odd to me that a Wings fan would go instant mad after being happy from a goal. More than likely they were celebrating and a Yotes fan (they exist?) got pissy and said something like "Sit the F down". Im sure he responded with a "Shut the F up" or a "Scoreboard" and they mutually decided to get into it. Im sure there was alcohol involved. As for the bolded part sometimes you can help it. Not really. If you go based on the stats of both goalies this season then every shot on goal against the Wings, Howard has a better chance of saving then Osgood. Based on this the shot Howard kicks out as a rebound had a better chance of going straight in against Osgood.

Sure Howard has an issue with rebounds right now but at least hes making that first save. If Ozzie were in net the shot that Howie kicked a juicy rebound on just would have gone in the net. What would you prefer? Howard is the only reason the Wings have a shot at the playoffs. If Ozzie had played as many games this year as Howard the Wings would not be in the playoff race at all. If he would have blown the cop might be more apt to let him walk home or drive him home and drop him off depending on the number he blew.
