I have a man crush on Ozzie as much as anyone but Cam Ward is by far the best goalie left in the playoffs. Hes the one that drove Carolina past Boston and New Jersey. Elite goaltenders win a series and games by themselves which is what he has been doing. Now Ozzie is a solid goalie that is just asked to not lose the game but can make some top notch saves. The Wings are good enough that they dont ask the goalie to win them games. If you think a wings team with Ozzie is better than a wings team with Ward you are insane.

And he is creating those chances to score and its just not going in. There are more important things effecting the Wings results than Dats play. The big one is 75% of the team doesnt start skating until the last ten minutes of the 3rd.

A non scoring Datsyuk is better than Holmstrom, Cleary, and Sammy right now. The guy is the best defensive forward in the game and is still creating chances the puck just isnt going in. Far from a choker

True Datsyuk hasn't been putting up numbers but hes been FAR from bad. Hes been the best backchecking forward the whole series. No Duck is safe with the puck when hes around. Lets not also forget that if it hadnt been for an amazing save by Hiller at the end of tonights game and in the 2nd period of game 5 he would be on a two game goal streak. Hes also one of the few wings that has skated hard every shift this series. Sometimes players are just snakebitten. Its happens. Its a good thing Datsyuk is the best all around player in the league as he is still extremely important even if hes not scoring.

Helm is a great skater and a perfect 4th line player but he has NO offensive ability. Yes I know he scored in game 5 but anyone in the NHL puts in a shot from the top of the crease with 2 people in front of the goalie. Hes blown 3 clear cut odd man breaks in this series because he doesnt have an offensive game. In a series where odd man rushes are rare you MUST take advantage of them.

There will be no blood as long as ****** Niedermeyer keeps his visor on while fighting. Even Dats is man enough to take it off when needed.

Sammy is a 10-15 goal a season player at max on any other team. Say this with me slowly "Sammy is gone next year as he's easily replaced"

Ive got a couple more things to seperate Hossa and Sammy for you DavyMac: 1. Hossa lead the team in goals. Alot more than Sammy 2. Teams scheme to stop Hossa. Teams let Sammy shoot wristers from the boards. 3. Hossa is wanted by the team. Sammy will be let go after this season These boards need an option to "Vote Off" some of the stupidest posts ever made while during a game. Better yet no posting should be allowed during and 3 hrs after a game.

Whats wrong with making someone whos on the verge of death feel special. If giving him the title of Teams #1 fan makes him forget about the horror of his situation for even one minute Id give it to them over a season ticket holder any day.
