Anyone else notice last night during the 2nd period I beleive that Chicago took a shot that was deflected and Hasek quickly kicked out his leg while the puck went wide. He stayed on one knee for a couple seconds and the puck went out of play. It looked like he pulled it then FSN went to commercial. That whole commercial break I was dreading them comming back and saying Dom had been switched out.

Brodeur has consistantly been one of if not the top goaltender in the league his whole career. If anyone is going to break the record I dont mind it being him as he earned it. Although Sawchuk > Brodeur

I sure as heck hope not. The Zetterberg-Dats-Holmstrom line has been the best line in hockey the last month. Scoring what 40% of Detroits goals. There is no way in hell you break that line up unless they start slumping.

I dont think Joey is ever gonna be an NHL goalie. He has served his purpose though this year in helping keep Dom from having to practice to much. I think he showed in the games he played though that hes just not up to the NHL level.

There is to much down time in American sports that people cant get into it. To many breaks in the action. Look at football. 10 seconds of a play then 30 seconds of a huddle or commercial break. Baseball is commercial break every half inning. People rarely truly get into the event they are at. Look at things like golf and tennis where you have to be silent 90% the time. Its just been ingrained in us Americans to sit and watch the game. Maybe throw out a quick jab at an opponent and cheer for 30 seconds after a goal. You want atmosphere at a sporting even then everyone needs to goto a soccer match in Europe or South America. Sadle Americans will never "enjoy" a sporting event like they do. Heck I went to the World Cup last summer and just pre-game gatherings and marching to the stadium have more atmosphere: Through a train station Through the streets Of the major sports though hockey should be the one that keeps the most entertained just due to its speed and flow.
