Trust me folks I was in the same situation as Bert is now. Back in 99 I broke my arm playing hockey, both bones in my arm broke in half if that makes sence. Any way I play just like Bert im 6'4 220 not the fastest but has the soft hands and the euro moves. I was so affraid up till my senior year of high school that I would break my arm so I was skepitcal to play a physical game. But now that has passed me and I have to plates in my arm, I play in a league now and I finally got my physical game back. P.S. I didnt have the training and all the trainers as Bert. Just my two cents, give him time. Plus alot of it is mental.

When Bertuzzi returns I hope Lang is benched, I am really getting sick of him half assing it every shift, especially when he gets leveled,no desire or burn to play. Love the Filp and Franzen line just awesome.

Well I have a long story but I will make it short. I live in MN and I was a huge North Stars fan. The same year they left was the same year that the Mall of America opened up, and I was at the mall with my mom and friends and we were at what was Oshmans sproting goods and they had some posters , and I first decided on a Pavel Bure poster but when I was flipping through the rest of the posters, they had a Sergei Fedorov poster. So I purchased the Fedorov poster and he became my favorite player and the Wings became my favorite team. I am 22 now and have been rooting for them since the 94 season.

I know we shouldnt be cocky but damn after watching that game its hard not to be. Second we talk about how big the Flames are, well after last night it showed me that it doesnt matter how big you are but if you can skate and we out skated them up and down the ice. This series reminds me of the Philly series in 07 lot big bodies on the flyers but we out skated the hell out of them. Well just my oppinion. And after last night I really to a dislike to Iginla he is great play but what a *****. Worry about scoring and not taking stupid penalties.

Yes the announcers are retards, but did anyone watch the end of the 2nd period, when during the intermission they had a tramp O lean however you spell it, and one guy was bouncing while the other guy was flying in the air. WOW how retarded, if that is how they entertain the fans in Nashville thats pretty sad. I just thought that was weird anyone esle catch that?

Well I am glad somebody made a thread on this, well since I am a metal head. I have had my playoff beard for quite some time, but I am going to shave it, not all of it, but trim it up nice, and then let it go. My fiance is not shaving her legs as well. Im not saying Vancouver is a terrible team, they proved that to us the other night. All I am saying is come playoff time, if Roberto is off his game, to me Vancouver does not pose a threat. Just my opinion, but I would like to see them prove me wrong. Plus the Sedin bros are scary looking. Wooops wrong reply to, my bad.

Ok I have been a Wings fan for many years, and everytime we lose the whole world is about to fall apart. Yes we have lost two in a row, and so do many other teams. But no one was complaining when we kicked Calgary's ass 7-4 with Joey M in net, come on we know we can beat Calgary, Vancouver the only way they win is with a hot goalie. Were seeing that the Wings can play lousy hockey, just like everyone else in the league. Its sports and thats what happens. I will tell you this when we get Zetterberg back and we bring in Bertuzzi, there will be a fire in this team come playoff time. We are seeing a team that just wants to get the playoffs started already. So chill out sit back and enjoy the ride. GO WINGS

Hello once again. Ok watched the game tonight, on my uncles TV since I dont have cable, I live here in Minnesota so he got the Center Ice package. Never saw Nashville TV or hear the announcers but holy s***, these guys are the biggest dips***s ever. My god that fat ass singing about Moutain Dew and s***, I was like what the f*** are these morons doing. Stop talking about stupid crap and talk hockey. And if that wasnt bad the commercials were even worse, stupid fans pretending to have claws, oh how scary. And every commerical was with Vokun couldnt even understand the guy. I just dont get it, why would you not want Guerin? I was watching some TSN and they said if we get Guerin, that would make us a whole different team. I have to totally agree. Guerin gives us that playoff guy with expiernce has some physicality, and oh yea put the puck in the net. I know I know everyone has said that, but like the rest of you im crossing my fingers. Has anyone seen this, go to hockeybuzz.com first he states that Detroit is most likely going to get Guerin than an hour later says that the blues will resign him tomorrow. ??? Where does this guy get his info, a magic 8 ball.

K-P Wings that was hilarious assumption. . And yes if Keith is the cheapest option than yes I say grab him, but I think as days go, the price of players will go down, as reports say. Its just hard to say who were gonna get, what were gonna end up giving for these players. I just cant wait anymore. Just bring on the toughness as some would like to say.

Ughh no offence Keith is a good player, but why give up young guys and picks for a older, slower,Thacuk. At this point the only players that I want to see in a Wings uni is Guerin or Bertuzzi both are exactly what we need. I dont know, not really fond of Keith. Well just have to wait and see. GO WINGS

Lang+Lilja=Problem Solved, also remember Montreal really was pushing for Lang last year. And I know we always bring up trading Lang,Lilja etc. But this addition+Healthy Blue Line+Healthy Hasek=Sick. Just my thoughts

I also saw this on Eklund, quite interesting if you ask me, Souray would shore up the blue line for a strong playoff run. Where does that put us with the Guerin, Bertuzzi, etc. could we see one of two things happen, we nab Souray and trade for Guerin or Bertuzzi, maybe we get all three. Think of the possibilites, also isnt Schneider a UFA after this year maybe after the season is over we resign Souray and let Schneider walk. Things are getting interesting these last 7 days or so before the deadline, what are all your thoughts. -Nick

Boy that is intresting Hudler for Bert. Thats a gamble if bertuzzi is 100% healthy i say Hulder is worth the risk, but if they can drop the asking price that would be even nicer. As everyone says get rid of Willy instead. Just my thoughts -Nick

Hey everyone, this is great news to hear if this is true, I have a feeling something might go down tomorrow, with this Forsberg situation. Apparently their were scouts at today's game against Calgary. Scouts from Philly were in attendance and our scouts will be in Philly tomorrow night. So maybe a trade will go down tomorrow night. Hope I am right. And giving up Lang, oh darn did anyone watch the game, after he scored he didnt look to thrilled and he looks bored out there. See if Bert is healthy and if thats the case try to land him. Forsberg and Bert going into the playoffs. SCARY. -Nick

Ok everyone again im new to the boards but lets just put it this way, who ever we get is gonna make us a contender regardless of the point. s*** last year who did we get Cory fricken Cross. This year look at the names, Forsberg, Bert, Guerin, Thakchuk or however you spell it. Face it I will take any of them except maybe Keith he has grey hair. I would love to see Bertuzzi here myself, but with a healthy forsberg, listen to the line Forsberg-Datsyuk-Zetterberg, boy that has real nice ring to it. But overall I feel Bertuzzi brings us what we need. First off I want to say this is my first post on Letsgowings.com. I have read many reviews over the past 4 or 5 years finally going to respond. I also enjoy reading all of your posts, good stuff. Now about the real topic at hand, Bertuzzi is exactly what this team needs, size, strength and mean streak. Oh by the way he can put the puck in the net. Exactly what Kenny boy wants. Bring him on. And about the class issue, this organization thrives on being classy, if bert isnt up to the standards see ya later. I think babs will woop him into shape.
