Problem with that is the winner of the division will probably get to play the Wild. Whereas the loser will play either the Ducks, Sharks, or Stars.

Just saw another replay of the game winner... Kronner easily could have kicked that pass away or gotten his body in front of it, but he tried stopping it with his stick instead, and of course it had to hop over his blade, slide between his legs, and onto the stick of Forsberg.

i hate the shoot-out.. it's stupid.. exciting.. but stupid. Sabres are a fantastic team, but without all of their shoot-out wins, they'd pretty much be an average team. They'd have as many points as the Atlanta Thrashers (not including how many points the Thrashers have in shoot-outs however). Same goes for the Wild. Without all of their shoot-out wins, they wouldn't even be in a playoff spot. Juts a bitter, 'we just lost in a shoot-out' rant i suppose.

Too bad we can't have Lidstrom on the ice for the entire game. Terrible goals like that would not happen with Nicky on the ice.
