We did not lose becasue of lack of effort, nor did we lose becasue we played a terrible game. We lost because SJ, an extremely big, fast, and skilled team decided to stash 5 men behind the red line, and concentrate solely on defense. Let's give credit where credit is due... SJ played a perfect road game. Period.

Hats off to the sharks.. they played an absolutely perfect road game. good news is, we only took one penalty.. bad news is, they scored on it.

...another question to sharks fans... when your team takes an early lead.. or any lead for that matter... are they accustomed to trapping like this? or is this just something they're doing against the wings this series? seems to me, a team with so much seepd/size/skill... it's almost a shame to take your foot off the gas and trap like this.

I can't believe Shneids isen't getting any love. Dude is leading the playoffs in shots, and he's a defenseman. He has a cannon of a shot (ask Giordano, if he remembers). He's been absolutely rock steady on D, and by far our most physical presance on the blue line. I know alot of people got on Schneider in the regular season, and didn't want him back here next year.. but i hope to god we re-sign him.
