I'm not sure what he earned. It would be nice to have a true heavy weight in there wouldn't it?

If not Downey or Mac ( you could let them go) how about another UFA signing. George Laraque? Detroit fans would love him. He did well in the playoffs for Pitts, plus you know he can fight. I wondering what his asking price is? Also Pitts would be pissed that we took another one of there players!

Lebda has more experience right now. I watched both in Grand Rapids and Meech is just as fast and has better hands and better offensive upside + he is probably more physical. Trust me, Meech is very talented. I would take him any day of the week over Lebda.

I would move Lebda. Meech is just as fast and has more upside then Lebda ever will.

I have heard and read online of the "The Bruise Brothers - Hockey’s Heavyweight Champions" book that came out June 1st. Where can I buy this book??? Please help. I've checked some sites like amazon and barnes and noble but could not locate this book.

This is so stupid to bring a 'has been' back into the fold. You've got young legs in the system, they should be on the team. Chelios should retire he is just taking up a roster spot at this point in his career. What a F_ _ _ ing joke!!!

I agree. Howard is a good goalie and there is no reason to bring someone else in. He was good with G.R. I have seen him many many times.

I couldn't agree more with you. It's becoming a joke now. The game has pasted him by. If he wants to stay make him an assistant coach......but now his is just taking up a roster spot for one of our defensive prospects. RETIRE CHELIOS !!!!!!!!!
