  1. Okay.... My Girlfriend and I are going to be in Detroit on Nov. 17th for the Blues game. Im really excited my girlfriend is just putting up with it for me (she's a Ducks fan).

Back to the question, We obviously want to grab food but since we don't know the area to well we are trying to stay closer to the arena when we eat (Thinking about Cheli;s Chili). I also was curious and traveling advice since we will be entering through Windsor, and the parking situation down there and any advice with that.

I know we also might head over to Hockeytown Authentics before we park in the city but I would love to hear any other ideas of things to do in the city or near by or any advice or things that would make our trip more entertaining and enjoyable.

    Thank you in Advance...!!!

Just incase there is any confusion, Im just looking for any advice for some one from out of town going to see a game for only his second time..... THANK YOU

    CRASH

PS. Mods if this is in the wrong place I apology and please move...

I love taking the people mover and going to Greektown to eat and drink. Plus stopping by the casino.

  2. I'm convinced 100% that the NHL is rigged. There is no way that puck conclusively went across the line.

    Non-calls in Dallas' favor

Howard interfered with. His stick was held.

The NHL is worse than WWF when Hulk Hogan went bad.

    NHL is a f'king JOKE!

EDIT: for grammar. I'm so pissed. I'm really bummed because I thought NHL was suppose to be a real sport. Not fiction. Life is no longer reality... in the NHL

I agree!!! It's been a joke since last years playoffs when they gave Cindy the Cup.

  3. Don't ever put Shanahan in the same sentence as Drake.

Shanahan was a shell of his former self when he left this team or was pushed out.

We know Shanahan's game, he stands around waiting for passes. He doesn't fight and he doesn't hit.

Spend the money on Grier or a guy who will actually throw his weight around and make the other team feel some pain.

True, that is why we don't need him.

  4. This is nonsense. I can't believe this guy doesn't know when to quit already. If Roenick was really his good friend he would be telling him the hard truth that only a friend can. It's time. IMO the wings gave him 2 contracts he had no business getting. You had a great career, now have fun golfing. You think he'd want to be remembered as a first pairing norris trophy defensemen and not some 8th D scrub.

 Well said!!!! I agree totally.

  5. Just wanted to make this post to prove how we are better then those whiney Pittsburgh losers who are still crying about Hossa leaving (you think the ref's giving them 2 games in the finals would be compensation <_< )

Anyways, I would just like to make this thread to show my appreciation to Hossa for the Season he was here. Was a blast to watch and I am thankfull for your sacrifice of a 81 million dollar contract.

To bad we coudlnt win it for you.

    Anyone else feel this way?

    true.
