great game for preseason. high intensity. crowd was in it. i hope the nhl took note of this game because hockey needs more high powered games like this.

i don't know if anyone noticed, but in the new olypmia, how come the away teams bench is across the ice from the wings bench? or am i seeing it wrong.

babcock is smart, he wants to roll 4 scoring lines, if you move all your power to the first line in having bert z and dats together, the other lines won't be as effective. spacing franzen bert and flip apart is smart.

I donno if any of you heard Don Cherry last night but he said Lebda didn't even get a concussion, he messed up his knee when he went into the boards. He also said the Wings are saying it's a concussion so maybe Langkow will get suspended. It makes sense to me.

i seriously think the reason the PK blows is because lidstrom schneider lebda arent physical enough in front of the net and lilja and chelios are too slow to move the guys out in front of the net... it seems when you're down a man, you need big guys in front of the net to clear people out right away and their just not getting it done. anyone else agree?

Don't know if this has already been posted but Ken Kal just said that Jiri Hudler may take Kyle Calder's spot tonight, making him a healthy scratch... he said that Babcock was looking for more from him in the first 3 games.

Bertuzzi might sit out Game 1 Todd Bertuzzi didn't practice for the second straight day Tuesday and appears doubtful for Game 1 of the playoffs Thursday because of a concussion suffered last week. Mike Babcock said there were no new developments Tuesday. "The medical people are dealing with that. In my mind he’s not available at this point,'' Babcock said. Mikael Samuelsson skated at right wing where Bertuzzi would have played, with Robert Lang and Kyle Calder. Henrik Zetterberg said he continues to feel better and will play Thursday. He was reunited with Pavel Datsyuk and Tomas Holmstrom.
