What do you think needs to be done to fix the PP/PK

It seems like on the PP they are dead set on setting up, or getting it back to the blue line constantly and looking for the Homer tip. It's predictable, and the way every team is blocking shots it's not very effective right now. I think it would be better for the team to start trying to set up on the side, or down low, try to get something to the slot or crash the net. Hudler off the point helps too. As for the PK I have no idea. -

Congrats Ozzie, he played a hell of a game tonight and deserved this win.

I was uncertain of him at the beginning of the season, but he has become a pleasant surprise. He has been excellent in the shootout. Here's to hoping he keeps it up the rest of the season. :goalie1:

I think Babcock is a good coach, but keeping the lines the same just seems like suicide. The Zetterberg line is the only line that is consistantly an offensive threat. The top line looks terrible. Holmstrom should be on the 4th line during 5 on 5 play, and on the first powerplay unit. He can't seem to handle or complete a pass, and the only upside to his game right now is his deflections. But I guess with all the injuries right now they don't have much of a choice.

ha I remember this team. Every time they would come into town to play they would give out whoopee cushions.

If a goal and an assist cound as not doing anything all game, then I hope he doesn't do anything all season long

Another dialed-in game, and another loss. If they continue to play this way in the playoffs we're looking at an early exit.... so disappointing.

After the way Leino played today I'd like to see him stay with us for a few games... and maybe get some power play time

I'm the same way. This game had to come when I am visiting family that has basically every sports package except for center ice. . No predictions, just hope that we win.

I don't like rules that limits a player's movement on the ice, like the goalie and the trapezoid, and this. Personally I think this rule would be terrible.

If he can keep putting up the goals like he is right now, then I say we should let him go for it. We need all the offense we can get, so here is to Chelios having a 15 goal season. Well I can hope anyway.

If the games come on FSN then Direct TV should air them. At least they did for the past two pre-seasons

I have heard that our games on the 20th, 27th, and 29th are on FSN Detroit. I wouldn't take this as a fact, but it sounds real.

If they are on a line and do a lot of passing fortunately we could put Holmstrom on that line, and he can deflect one of those passes in the goal.

The only hockey I have seen on this summer has been on the MSG channel. They have been playing Ranger games from this past season. I dont really care for the Rangers, but it is better than nothing.

Personally I think that would be the best move they could make. Moving Zetterberg to second line center, and putting that line back together. During the time that line was together when Z was out they seemed to have good chemistry, and they were producing. It would be interesting to see what Filppula can do with more ice time. I also think we should put Cleary and Hudler on the second line with Z. I don't know if that would work, but it is just an idea.

My favorite moment would probably be Filppula's breakaway goal in Nashville against Vokoun, mostly because I was there and it was my first Wings game
