How is this even possible??? Kenny must be pretty confident that there is a trade(s) in the works. Otherwise Morrow has no place on this team.

I'm sure Q is on his way out. Forwards-wise I'd say Emmerton, Bert, Toots are ones Kenny is most likely to try to move...besides Sammy of course.

So I'm guessing its save to assume that if he signs Brunner is gone? Very sad if so...

Eh, I hated Tootoo until he was a Wings so it would like have the same outcome if we signed Alfie. TBH I don't really know how much he has to offer these days as I have only been able to watch Wings games the past two seasons. All I know is shooting a puck at someone it not something I would have done when I was playing hockey at 13, let alone as an adult. But, as many know, all is forgiven once a player dons a Wings jersey.

Oh, definitely no argument here, in regard to Neidermeyer I mean. But shooting a puck at someone? Pretty careless and childish IMO. Its on the same level as Mclellan coming into the game for 45 seconds and slashing mule in the stomach. It makes me sick every time I see his face on tsn.

If he was to have a similar playing style to one of those two, I would prefer it to be Scott Scott Stevens. Then he and Kronwall can alternate destroying people with open ice hip-checks. After watching all of the documentaries covering fighters in hockey, after all of those deaths, has really changed how I personally feel towards having a player who's job is almost completely just to fight. Staged fighting shouldn't exist in hockey anymore, it's just too dangerous. (Not that all of his fights were staged, obviously*) Now what would make me really happy is if he will be as willing to stand up for his teammates as Probert was. That's what is key, and that is something this team desperately lacks. I want people to be afraid to pull cheap-shot crap on our guys. I don't know much about this kid other than his size, but if he has any offensive prowess and knows how to use his big body, then he has potential to be a very key component to future success. ....I can't get the Scott Stevens idea out of my head now. It would be offensive if he was to make more than lidstrom. I don't care how much the cap goes up.
