Wait...Patrick Kane?? Yeah, thats what I thought too haha. Its like every one of these awards is a popularity contest to some extent, and that really sucks. Genuinely surprised Patrick Kane has been nominated.

I have two little boys (2-3yo) who are all over the place, so I am not on all of the time, but when I am on I am normally playing NHL 13. I have a club right now that is open to anyone who wants to join. It's just me currently because my friend who was the only other member left - so it might say that the club has no activity, but I am actually on. Club name: Every Villain Is Lemons GT: WINGSFANmac I also play Defiance when I can and Red Dead Redemption. I have a crazy parent's schedule, so weekends and late nights are when I am normally on.

I thought he said this season, in which Cleary was awful. Playoffs? Not so much. He's been grinding pretty hard this series.

I turned the game on when it was 3-1, so I turned it off immediately because they always get scored on when I tune in late...sure enough it got tied up. Yeah, Q has been looking pretty irrelevant out there. Not really a game-changer. I am still excited whenever I think of DeKesyer's potential. I mean, the fact that we are missing this guy so badly...and noticeably...speaks volumes.

This series is all about goaltending. If we could figure out Hiller, Howie can carry us through game 7. D needs to step up and Wings need to be more aggressive in the corners. So let me make sure I'm on the same page here; it's childish to be irritated about the league dropping the ball on setting the standard for what on-ice actions constitute fines/suspensions, but its completely acceptable to make a "Howard is average" or "We like our team", the world is falling apart, threads/posts literally every time the Wings lose? Ok, buddy. For the record, this first grader thinks the suspension on Abby was a good call.

If we had that lineup it would be like rolling with a first-line, two second line, and a third line. Which would be awesome. But I would keep Brunner with Nyquist and Andersson, their chemistry is definitely growing. And, if we dont pick up that top line scorer (that we desperately need) this offseason then I would keep Abby on the first line. He's definitely making a case for himself that he deserves to be there. The person I am most excited for is Tatar. He's gonna be great. Was wondering this myself. But, then again, if he is, he'll be up against all of the hype Seth Jones is getting. I know nothing about the kid so I don't know if there is anything to worry about.

Not really showboating, but some of my favorite goal "celebrations". I am on the fence about eccentric celebrating. I think it's ok every once in a while, like after scoring a huge goal. For example, the Yakupov celebration was a little much, but Theo Fleury's was just pure emotion. Sometimes it brings a lot of energy to a team I think, and that's never a bad thing.
