I don't think anyone has thrown this out there yet... BUT Sammy would be a good set up guy for Dats and Z around the net. With all the s***ty wristers he takes, any rebounds would be money for Dats and Z to clean up..... maybe maybe???

Unfortunately I think Lang has to be put into positions where he can succeed now. I seriously have wondered all year long if he's entered that zone where he's physically incapable of doing what he used too, but no one wants to admit as much yet. It happens to everyone and it's not exactly his fault. and I don't mean to bash him so please don't take it that way.

We do a lot of upgrades at work on the weekends and almost always at night so I'm usually up until 3 or 4 AM Saturday morning. You have to sacrifice

Now when it comes to who has carried the play all along, than it's Detroit by a landslide. But still when you spot a team a 2 goal lead, especially very early, the onus goes to the Sharks to finish the job. They choked it up yesterday. Shhhhhhhhh..... Let him wallow in his arrogance......logical arguments won't do anything to him -
I don't know how you can say one is true when the other is not. MSG and Continenal Airlines Arena aren't even 20 miles from each other.....

Well when you're up 2-0 in game 2 after winning the first game 2-0, you really did kinda blow it when you lose 3-2. That means you sat back and let the Wings do their thing. but at the same time, Detroit had a hell of a lot more offensive rhythm yesterday towards the end. Maybe it'll carry over. -
Without a home ice advantage, Calgary isn't close to the playoffs this year.....

I don't think that game was a sellout last night. That might explain it. Blackout rules will still apply, even in the playoffs.....

These are adults, they are capable of making their own collective decisions. the NHLPA doesn't want them and that's that. And chances are Homer's injury would've happened even with a half shield. You can bet that he won't want to wear a facemask when he comes back.

Worried? Hardly I have a wife on bedrest until she has our kid in a couple months. This is hardly even stress inducing comparatively. However, I'll be pretty sure about which way this series is going to go by the end of the 1st period on Saturday.

Why wouldn't they? Detroit can't even seem to get good shots, much less score. A 2 goal lead in this game might as well be 5 or 6.... Just sit back and clear the puck. This game couldn't be going better for the Sharks.

I'm starting to have flashbacks to the Anaheim in 2003....not so much that San Jose has the goalie standing on his head like Anaheim did, but because Detroit just looks horrible on offense.

right now the only positive I can say is that it isn't game 4 Seriously it looks like they are making decisions at two different speeds out there..... The Sharks aren't any better really and haven't really played better, but Detroit is being a bit more tenative and are split second behind....
