2 were pretty legitimate....the hooking penalty I didn't see because I missed it live and on the replay too. The Kronwall penalty the most obvious of all, it's an easy call.

I would be shocked - SHOCKED - if Holland hasn't at least talked to Howson about it. Nash could fill a serious hole with the Wings AND he's not old. It would literally be like picking up Shanny back in the day. Nothing. They have figured out the arena financing issue with the city and Nationwide. If they get a haul for Nash I think they will be ok going forward. It sucks for them, because Nash has been the face of the franchise for a long time now, but I think they'll emerge from it better in the long term.

More importantly, it might make the Wings a little less passive, which is usually what is happening when they are getting their arses handed to them.

I'd get ready to move. I'd say between this and the financials that the owners are going to propose to the players virtually guarantees a lockout next year.

mason is easily the worst regular starting goalie in the league - he's more likely to go to the minors than be traded at this point. There have been rumors about Tyutin moving ever since he screwed up a chip in play nearly a month ago. Before they moved Russell I was going to say that both were equally worthless, but now I'm thinking Tyutin may be worth a bag of used pucks. I don't think they'll move Umberger too quickly. Being how this town is and how Umby is a "local guy" since he went to OSU, they'll want to try to make it work.
