No thanks. If we are going to jump through our collective asses and wish for players we have absolutely ZERO shot at landing, the hoping has to start and end with Rick Nash.

How did they come back last night? By stopping with the cutesy bulls*** along the perimeter and by getting the puck to the net and grinding it out down low. That's the mindset they need. On defense, ouch....I don't think any mindset change will matter, I think their defensive issues are systemic.

I'll admit it, I was certain this team was done after game 3. In fact I kind of envisioned a game much like what happened to Philly tonight. Granted I didn't get to see more than about 30 seconds of this game but it was a GOOD 30 seconds and the last 30 seconds

How do you figure that? They finished with more points, more wins, less goals allowed (and it's not close) and in a tougher division then the Wings had to deal with. Add to that, they are within 60 minutes of sweeping the Wings right out of the playoffs AFTER the Wings were dominant in the 1st round. The Sharks are a better team than the Wings. Just admit it and move on. Hopefully Holland sees it and starts to change things for the better. Keeping the status quo isn't going to help this franchise take the next step.

You know, call up the Grand Rapids kids and let them play. The guys on the main team don't deserve to stink up the ice again this year. Ball-less losers. All of them.
