They won't. I think the Detroit front office is as arrogant as some of the fans. You didn't see the thread that we had on here about the comparisons between the teams player by player. This team needs to be blown up. Keep Dats, Mule Z and maybe Helm and Jimmy. The rest need to go. -

Good thing it's hockey and not the NBA....but you are right, the Wings always seem to have issues with teams that want to block shots, even the s***ty teams. -

I don't think Abs is anywhere near the sole reason the Wings have looked so terrible and are down 2-0, but I DO think he's peaked as a player and we have likely seen exactly what he's always going to be - a 3rd/4th line player who might contribute 30 points or so and can sometimes kill penalties. There are about 300 players in the league who can fit this role.

It's hilarious how much this post dismisses the obvious. Coaching the better team =/= being the better coach. The Sharks are simply better than the Red Wings.
