This team desperately needs someone to put his head down and get to the crease. This weak-wristers from along the boards offense never ******* works. This is almost like watching Ohio State's basketball team in the NCAAs. They'll be able to get buy with that crap against weaker teams, but the moment a team plays them physically or has anywhere near the skill they do, they are done.

Does it matter? The Wings are continually taking stupid ******* penalties. They are playing like a bunch of ******* pansies and the Sharks are kicking their goddamn teeth in. This team absolutely needs a guy who can just bull his way to the net instead of having to rely upon being set up by a pass. It's too easy to push these guys out along the boards and isolate them that way. They need to score immediately in the 2nd period. If the Sharks score first this game and likely the series is over.

Which was my worry coming out of Game 1. Sometimes they try to be too perfect on offense instead of just shooting it and playing what comes to them.

I have one thing to say that is nice, and it's an individual playing the goalie position. Without him playing well, it would be 6-0

The Sharks are just better. Add into that McClellan knows the Wings system very well. Essentially the Wings will need to play above their heads to win and as they've shown most of this year, they just aren't capable of doing that.

Where is the urgency in this team? I think we are approaching the time that some changes need to be made. AT least Howard showed up because no one else has. I hate long layoffs. The Wings NEVER play worth a s*** when they come off of one. They absolutely MUST win this game today. They aren't going to beat the Sharks 4 out of 5 if they don't.

I would be thrilled if they prove me wrong and actually come out with intensity and something resembling determination from all of the players. That and if they don't try to be perfect on offense and just throw the puck at the net every now and again, I'd be thrilled.

Really the only reason we're even debating what Abby did or the high-sticking call is because Howie stood on his head against a barrage of shots. That has to continue.
