Just win. win the fights along the boards.... play in the middle of the ice..... get shots on goal.... Don't try to be too "pretty".... Give a good effort from the first puck drop to the last whistle. Do that, and it's pretty basic, and the rest will take care of itself.

Luongo is so incredibly over-rated it's not funny. That's not to say that Chicago isn't playing well, because they are. But Luongo can't make a hard save and is also letting the softies in as well from time to time.

If the Indians were decent this year, then until about August Columbus would be paying attention to baseball (since it is an Indians town), but the Tribe sucks and no one is paying attention to them.

I hope they do. Versus and NBC is so piss-poor at sports coverage in general and the NHL in particular, only the moron that is in charge of the NHL is satisfied with it.

This franchise needs rebuilt. There are some good pieces without a doubt, but some of the pieces are old (Homer) and/or rotten (Lebda). They have to restructure how this team is built. You can't only play 2 good lines and 2 s***ty lines. Having a strong 3rd line is vital to success. The Wings had that the past couple years but not this year.

Does anybody on this goddamn team have the balls to get to the front of the net with the puck? Seriously. Either they are ball-less wonders or they are so gassed it's a miracle they have been in any of these games. You don't win along the boards. You gotta be in the middle of the ice. They did it exactly ONE TIME after the first and they happened to score on that ONE TIME. This team needs an overhaul. They need a 3rd line that can hit some people, score some goals and generally not s*** down its leg. They need to get Datsyuk some wingers who can put the puck in the back of the net. Someone needs to find Franzen's mojo and give it back to him. And honestly, someone needs to start sacrificing virgins to the hockey Gods to get LIdstrom to come back and not retire.

While certain players blew it in OT, the entire ******* team played like 6 year old girls the entire 3rd period and the OT as well. Where was the desperation? Good God, this isn't the Wings I remember. They NEED TO BE REBUILT WITH AGGRESSIVE PLAYERS WHO KNOW WHEN TO STEP ON THE GUYS THROAT WHEN HE'S DOWN.

As for the TV stuff... On my DirecTV, 603 is Versus and now I have a 604 for "Versus Alternate Programming" I'll laugh if it's blacked out in Ohio. Christ the NHL is such a 5th rate league sometimes
