Crosby was hit (FINALLY) near the end of the 1st OT and he wasn't the same. in fact, he was playing pretty timidly after the hit IMO.

A general absolution from the Hockey Gods.... My wife and I are having our 2nd child on Wednesday. She has told me to shave the playoff beard. I need to be absolved of the sin of shaving my playoff beard and maybe the great posters here at LGW could provide it.

Well my son, Matthew Edward, joined us this morning at 845 AM. He is 7lbs 10oz and 21 inches long. I was thinking going into this that he would be a goalie, but he took a swing at the doctor on the way out so I'm thinking agitator/power forward Anyway, today is a GREAT day to be alive. Go Wings!!!

well he did....and now they are up 2-0 because of it. The entire team was completely and totally better tonight, even though they weren't dominant. Baby steps people
