Me too. That said Philly is playing desperately. The Wings seem to always have issues with desperate teams too.

It's not the Wings 4th line that is the issue, it's when teams play their 3rd and 4th lines against Dats and Z's lines. You're not going to see May or OKT or Abby on those lines in the playoffs....get real.

What did you all really expect of Ozzie today? The guy hasn't started in nearly 3 months and has barely played in that timeframe. I'm shocked it's not 4-0.

and right now we are seeing the blueprint for teams on how to play and beat the Wings in the playoffs..... get physical, don't give the skills players room to move and hit them at every turn.

They didn't just beat Chicago. They dominated them. I was worried about the 3 games against the CBJ to close the year. Thankfully the Wings went on the tear we were waiting for, but for some reason the BJs always play the Wings tough late in the regular season. -

Well Columbus has been playing a LOT better since the Olympic break. Look at what they did to Chicago for instance. However, this really seems to be one of those games where the Wings are on cruise control until they get down a goal. I really hope I'm wrong BTW. -

a win plus a Calgary loss would put them right on the clinch line for the playoffs. That would put Detroit +10 on Calgary with 5 to play for both teams. Calgary could still technically catch Detroit in the win column, so if the Wings win 2 more games they're in.

The Blues killed the PP with only one good rush for Chicago really and honestly they had a semi-breakaway on a turnover by Duncan Keith that was just as close. Chicago seems to be hanging their head when things don't go their way. Joel Quenneville strikes again. And Brent Sopel just took a puck to the face.....
