For some reason, I see the Wings really struggling scoring in this game. They might even look like they give a damn tonight, but unfortunately I don't see a lot of scoring. Hope I'm wrong. -

playoff teams don't lose to s*** teams like Edmonton. This is not a good omen. -

The Blackhawks are struggling a bit on defense, and he's like +2 since the first of the year, which considering the team he is on, isn't that good. So it may help the Blackhawks a bit defensively. Certainly it won't hurt them if he's able to come back in the playoffs fresh either.

The Quenneville Factor. It's March and he has a decent team. Time for it to fall apart.

was it a bad play by Ovie (by bad I mean it wasn't going to help his team) - yes. Was it dirty? I don't think so, especially given his reaction to the hit as Campbell laid there on the ice. He needs to be under control more, but I seriously doubt he intended to hurt Campbell.

That is a bit odd. I wonder if it will carry over in the playoffs? The only one that might slow down in Colorado. LA and Phoenix have enough veterans to get them to the finish line. While I don't think Phoenix is a viable NHL city, it is nice to see their fans have something to cheer for.... -

Given their place in the standings coupled with Calgary's recent hot streak and the relative weakness of Nashville's future schedule, today's game is ALSO a must-win game. As I look at it, just about every game is, but one way or the other they have to get 2 points here against a East team. Calgary has a tough game coming up against Vancouver and then they play the Wings again so now is the time to make up some ground this weekend. -
