Well the Tigers have a decent shot at the AL Central this year, maybe Thankfully I have the Buckeyes to keep me going. Otherwise, my Browns and Orioles and now it seems the Wings would depress me too. I feel your pain

Go for it! If someone in this fanbase isn't pissed off that in a critical game where they were actually LEADING IN that they were outshot 15 to ******* 4 AT HOME, they have some serious issues.

Yes. I think some of his rebound issues are directly due to being extremely tired. The same thing occurred with Steve Mason last year and he ended up with Mono at one point.

I've seen the Browns, honestly I think even though the Browns players aren't hockey players they would give a better effort at times.

I kind of wonder if some of this is the Wings players waiting for someone to take the lead on the ice or something. As if they are waiting for the 'mojo' to come back to them instead of doing the things that made them good.

Hi my name is Mike and I have a confession to make, especially with respect to how they Wings played in the 2nd period. This game was all about who the Wings are and what they COULD be. They Wings are so inconsistent that they were outscored 4-0 in the 1st and 3rd periods, but they COULD BE the team that so completely outplayed chicago in the 2nd that they were still able to overcome the deficit.

Getting the puck low is great, unless you aren't getting anything in front of the net. If Holmstrom and sometimes Franzen (when he isn't skating along the boards like the rest of the forwards on this team) aren't on the ice, no one is in front of the net. Bertuzzi would try to bull his way to the net too one time. Instead he let himself get pushed off to the size which resulted in yet again another zero angle shot with no one in front to deflect or distract.

Way to be completely dominated in the first period of a game they absolutely need to at least show well in. Gutless ******* wonders, all of them. And when will they finally figure out that they win when they go to the net? This perimeter-only/zero angle offense never ******* works.

after a 2 week break.....in which the gravity of their dire playoff positioning should have gotten through to them.....

The real question is how long will that moniker still be attached to Holland? every team eventually has a bad year, but this off-season will determine if Holland truly is the best GM in hockey.
