You are the one whining about what is being said about hossa in the HOSSA THREAD. I see reading comprehension isn't your strong suit. Son.

SCF GAME 7 GDT: Penguins 2 at Red Wings 1

There's no truth to the rumor that Barack Obama is going to bail Marian Hossa out for being a pud this postseason. -

GMR has said things in the past about Hossa AND Sammy, sometimes in the same post. -
This is the Hosssa thread. There's no reason to bring up how horribly Stuart played or how bad Lebda is or the fact Sammy lead the league in logo-hunting. If you can't handle that hossa is getting hammered for being a gutless no-show in the series he supposedly came to Detroit for, TOO ******* BAD. Son.

Could Penguins win the Cup if they had the injuries

what is this like the 5th stupid thread you've made so far? -
I didn't like his style of play during the regular season either, but he was at least SCORING then. He can skate around like a wimp all season long and score 40 goals but if he doesn't do anything in the playoffs he's just NOT worth the trouble.
-
When he's making 7.4 mill a year to score goals, then no, having a positive ratio like that means NOTHING when he hasn't scored anything. Son.

quit embarrassing yourself. Hudler tries hard, but he's 5'4 and 120lbs. He can't possibly win the board battles and is too passive for much of his time on the ice. The Wings can do better at the same price. -
oh no, not you again, son.
-
Then begone and follow your boy HOssa out the door.
-
the thing that will stick the most is the complete breakdown of the basic rules of defense that this team went through this year. I'll remember that probably until the Wings win another cup probably.
-
yeah and he scored a TON of goals to go along with it. if you are a forward and being paid 7.45million, you gotta score. Hossa played in a way that is singularly unacceptable. If he comes back for Chelios type money, sign him. Otherwise, don't destroy the cap for a now KNOWN playoff choker.
-
I think we saw enough this year. Not one of those teams was EXPECTED to win the Cup. The Wings were. That's the important distinction. Add to that he couldn't score against columbus without it being game 4. He played decently against Anaheim was immediately started sucking again against Chicago.
-
hell yes they were too complacent. And I think they were too complacent in game 3 and 6 too. I think they were just dead tired in game 4 though.

I have a feeling you still want to ask for my address again....

Really though, if you think about it, except for game 5 the Wings PP was pretty much non-existent all series long. -
Let's not lose sight of the fact they were in 10th place in the EAST for pete's sake as they reformed their lineup and changed out their head coach. The Pens transformed themselves into the Stanley Cup champions during the season. their off-season signings were rather bad.

Abby is the type of guy who can grind and score that way, so is Helm BTW. I'm afraid Leino isn't quite ready for the NHL though. -
chris ******* Osgood was the only reason the Wings were in Games 3 4 6 and 7. Get your ******* eyes checked.
-
No. For all his skill he doesn't have the size to win the boards battles when it counts. That was painfully obvious this series and this is EXACTLY how teams are going to play the Wings next year.

Just because they lost doesn't mean the instinct is back. That will come with different personnel. I think it's gotten stale in the locker room. They need someone in the locker room to stir the drink. -
He has blasted the team. But this THREAD is about Marian "I play like my brother Marcel" Hossa. If you dont' want to read what people are saying about the man's performance, don't click on the thread.

I said something earlier when I was pissed off, but there's no way he'll NOT finish next year with the Wings. I DO think the team needs an attitude adjustment and I DO think that will happen with personnel changes, not what the head guy is doing. -
I think we'll mostly agree that Hossa is gone. I think Sammy will walk as will Hudler. Kindl, Kopecky and perhaps Downey will be resigned. McCarty will likely be let go (I think he's in his last year) as will Conklin. I just would not be shocked to see a trade of a d-man, either Stuart or Rafalski And I think a lot of his is predicated on getting LIlja back healthy. He was missed all playoffs long IMO.
