The NHL is a 3rd tier league. That's why the horrific officiating doesn't receive bigger comment. That and because the NBA offciating is so horrendous too. f*** the NHL. -

They are aiming but they are doing it from horrible angles. This is kinda what they did against Anaheim in a way. They are going for the cute goals from the bad angles over the shoulder. With the exception of the Cleary goal (which was a breakaway), they've scored by going to the net in their set plays instead of skating down the boards and trying it that way. -

these refs suck....at least it's mostly going both ways.... they let them play that entire time and there were hits and kinda sorta interference type plays both ways and then they call that on Lids? -

Sometimes the truth hurts. The players know it better than us fans too. But don't be thinking the Wings won't play better in game 2. They came out flat and tired likely due to the series with the Ducks. They'll recover I'm sure. -

Very flat looking team right now. Chicago is clogging the middle too which isn't helping matters. -
He still had to make the stops and he mostly did. I can't think of more than one or two "bad" goals the entire series. That's pretty damned good for a rookie playing the Defending Stanley Cup champs don't ya think?

What's an embarrassment is the effort the Wings are giving this period. Where's the Wings stars? Anaheim's have shown up. We are waiting on the Wings to show up. They are still stuck in Pittsburgh from June. -

Can we do it? Well the "we" is kinda optional since I'm not actually a member of the team, however, the Wings can certainly win game 7 in their building. However which Wings team will show up? I keep having visions of a closely fought game where the Ducks are flying to every puck but they can't quite bury their chances but the Wings aren't even GETTING chances on Hiller.

that's kinda my point. Haven't the Wings looked like total s*** in the 3 games they lost? Can we positively say one way or the other which one will show up? The answers to the questions are yes and no. Just like my feelings for Game 7. -

And exactly what gave you any indication that Detroit is going to show up in Game 7? This team has been too up and down for us to make any kind of prediction. In fact I think it's more likely the Ducks will come out flying and the Wings will look like they did against Columbus in mid-march. -
