The Wings are still being too cute with the puck. The color guy on Versus is right, Hiller is in the Wings head so they are trying to hard to get goals instead of grinding and getting "ugly" scores. The first goal was an ugly goal. When the Wings score like that they are unstoppable. When they are content to shoot at the corners of the net from the blue line they lose to people like Dwayne Rolosson, Kipper and, it seems, Hiller. -

What the f*** game are you watching? The Wings have been out-hitting Anaheim in the last two games and they have lost one and doing their best to lose this one. It's not a physical or physicality problem. -

this is kinda starting to look like the Calgary series from a couple years ago. The Wings seem content to let things to come them instead of going out and getting those things. This isn't like 2007 where the Ducks just outplayed Detroit. The Wings clearly aren't going into this with any killer instinct. -

That's all it is right there. It's not intimidation and it's not exactly a lack of interest like what we saw in the regular season. It's a lack of an attitude to put their foot on the Ducks throat and finish things. -

The puck clearly tucked in underneath the cross bar and hit the padded bar inside of the net. It's kinda hard to explain without having a net in front of you. Had it hit the post it would have shot out of there much faster than it did. And the ref was right there. Had it hit the cross bar I'm pretty certain he would have called it. -

well I was going to post a "Not this s*** again" picture, but it's not allowing IMG tags today. You know, after playing nearly 2 full games, a goalie can't stop EVERYTHING thrown his way. After a while Hiller was going to give one up too. It was a good game and Marchant made a play. Don't waste your time assigning blame when there really isn't anything to pin on anyone. -
I've seen it called 3 times this year alone.
