Slow down. I'm not going to defend anything Holland has done. But other than Datsyuk, Boston has dominated every single legit NHL player on this roster as well as the AHL-level defense. This team has been barely squeaking into the playoffs the past few years for a reason. they aren't that good. Boston is on a completely new level compared to Anaheim last year.

AT least Ohio State was usually nails in big games under Tressel. One or two exceptions obviously. The Browns, Bungles, Buckeye Basketball, Indians and Reds are epic chokers. it literally does not matter. It's pre-ordained. No Ohio pro sports team is going to rise up to the level needed to win a series like this in any sport, including the NHL. Flower could give up 5 goals a game for the rest of the series, the CBJ would find a way to give up 6 at some to get the Penwhines 3 more wins. It's destiny.

Columbus isn't going to let him go anytime soon and even then, if Holland is still the GM I'd say there's not a very good chance of the Wings ever opening the checkbook to sign him.

The Wings aren't playing well enough to worry about what the refs are doing or not doing. This game is why beating Boston in this series would be a monumental upset. they have made the Wings look like an AHL team today. but but but "We like our team"....

They won't though. Even if they continue to out-play the PenWhines the rest of the series, it's still an Ohio Pro Sports team, they are destined to lose in the most excruciatingly painful way possible.

They were...given the number of young kids playing I can't say I'm really shocked. Giving up the 2 goal lead took most of the wind out of their sails.

the CBJ need one more physical scorer. they aren't able to possess the puck in the s***zburgh zone and it's killing them. They are expending all their energy on defense. Allegedly you're a Wings fan - if the choice is that tough you haven't been paying attention for the past 8 or 9 years....hating on the CBJ is like a being a Patriots fan and hating on the Browns....

I'm not usually a big Scott Hartnell fan, but the playoff series two years ago where he basically baited Cindy into losing his mind (and with it, Cindy's team) was one of the greatest stretches of epic awesomeness I've seen since the Wings won their last Cup.

Red Wings first and always. However, being that I grew up in Pennsylvania and detest anything and everything s***zburgh, I always have liked the Flyers. Now that I live in Columbus, I really would like the CBJ to have some success so the franchise can grow here and the hockey environment stablizes so the kids can play the great game. Obviously if either is playing the Wings I cheer for the Wings, but those 2 I don't mind seeing have success either. Oh and F s***zburgh, s***cago, s*** Jose, LA Queens and anyone and anything associated with the Divealanche.

Yes - Detroit and Columbus hold all the tie breakers with Washington and NJD.
