I hear Ed Belfour is available.
-
I think the REd Wings need to draft Potty Wah's kids so we will finally have a goalie....by 2015.
-
Oh I've heard they are going to trade Leino, Sammy and a bag of pucks to Columbus for Mason. And they should take that trade too /wishful thinking
-
It is likely the same ones calling for Osgood last year when Hasek wasn't playing as well as he could have. The most popular player in the NFL is usually the backup QB. For the Wings it's the backup goalie.
-
Either keep it to Osgood or don't make the comment. Yes Backstrom is keeping Minnesota in the game. He has to be. Osgood played that puck correctly off of the baords. the left Dman then whiffed on the pass and then 4 friggin Wings couldn't get the puck from two Wild players AND the Wings players left their feet and lacked the agility at that point to do anything about Gaborik.
-
SHHHHHHH Thou shalt not besmirch thy Wings savior Conklin. Thou shall be drawn and quartered!!!
-
and let the LGW meltdown begin.... Osgood simply missing the puck aside, how the f*** can 4 Wings be around the play and not ONE of them getting in the way of the puck? That was a complete lack of "wanting it" if I've ever seen one....
-
come on boys bury one here.... dammit backstrom
-
does the picture of the game seem to be a big jumpy or is it me?
-
Nashville and the CBJ are just as physical and have that rookie goalie freak factor thing that always bites Detroit in the ass.
-
Well I'm pretty sure he's probably been riding them a bit after the Trashville and Columbus games along with the Pittspuke game from earlier on to name a few. Motivation issues are something that are either really easily fixed (and with a veteran team like the Wings it should be easy to get through to them you'd hope) OR they can completely destroy a team no matter what the coaches attempt to do. Usually (as was the case in Pittsburgh, it ends up with a coach getting canned). Something tells me we'll see a significant player change his address before we see Babcock get canned this year or next.
-
ummmm point to where I said everything is ok? Yeah I thought so.....
-
yes. It'll be on youtube before too long I'm sure.
-
for all the bitching/griping/moaning and malevolence here, it's his problem to fix at this point. There's a reason the guy is one of if not the best coach in the NHL. But at this point, with 4 games left, there is only so much one man can do. Some of this has to come from the players. If they have any pride and being hockey players they do, hopefully they will raise their level of play. If not there is a bigger problem than the coaching or the goaltending IMO.

hmmmm......
-
Wishing for players to die/get injured or the Joe to be empty on gameday or forfeiting games is most certainly overly-dramatic.
-
I can think of one. Babcock is finally publicly pissed to a point that I've not seen and a lot of others here haven't seen yet either.
-
What to do when it's the entire forum though? I can't ignore everybody, although 99% of the posters here aren't hoping for the Joe to be empty just because I, as a poster, can't handle the team losing a game.
-
That's a joke right? So when are you going to warn him in forum for telling me to "eat a dick"?
-
that's the 2nd post from you that needs to be plastered all over this forum time and again, especially the last part.
-
4. I'm still waiting on any relevant point you may have considering you want the Joe to be "empty as their ******* hearts" or some such nonsense. Again, get a damned grip. What are you, 12 years old?
-
who is making excuses? I see a lot of overly-dramatic bitching with a sprinkling of common sense and some trolling going on, but I'm not seeing any excuses.....
-
Still waiting for your point actually. And we know you aren't Steve Yzerman, you have proven that over and over again.
-
Good riddance then.
-
and he wouldn't whine about it either, like you're doing. He would do exactly what every player on this team is going to do tomorrow, that is, namely, show up at the rink, stretch and work on any injuries and then bust their ass/get hammered by Babcock. It's not like Detroit was omnipotent when Yzerman was playing either, but he never quit on them like your post indicated you are going to do.
